U.A. High School from My Hero Academia is a school full of incredibly talented heroes as professors, but does that mean that all of the teachers are unbeatable? Hardly! We have no doubt that someday many (if not all) of the students will eventually surpass their mentors. That's the intent, after all.

That being said, we have to wonder. How many students could beat their teachers now? That obviously depends on the student and the teacher, doesn't it? Let's say it's Present Mic, shall we? We've gone ahead and compiled a list of ten students we firmly believe could take the loud instructor out in a fight.

10 10. Hitoshi Shinso

Taller Hitoshi Shinso from My Hero Academia.

Hitoshi Shinso is the student famous (or infamous) for his introduction during the U.A. Sports Festival. His quirk, Brainwashing, gives him complete control over his opponent. Provided they make the mistake of answering him.

Let's be real for a minute here. What are the odds that Present Mic would resist an opportunity to talk, and therefore to respond to his opponent? This simply would not be a good matchup for the instructor.

9 9. Neito Monoma

Neito Monoman is another student who would give Present Mic a significant amount of trouble. His quirk is unique in that it allows him to copy the quirks of others around him (though there are practical limitations of this, among other things).

That's dangerous for Present Mic, for not only could Monoma respond in kind (which actually sounds quite painful for anybody watching the fight), but he could theoretically throw other surprises into the mix as well.

8 8. Tenya Iida

Iida might not be the type of student who would pick a fight with an instructor...but say he was challenged to do so for the say of the course (as we've seen before). Then the gloves would come off because Iida gives everything his all.

The odds are pretty good that Iida's practical thinking skills, combined with his speed, would result in Present Mic adding a loss to his scoreboard.

7 7. Momo Yaoyorozu

Yaoyorozu from MHA thinking

Momo Yaoyorozu is another student who would never willingly fight an instructor. That being said, her last fight against Aizawa taught her so much, including knowing to believe in herself. That will automatically make her a tougher person to beat going forward.

Momo is a brilliant character, with the ability to create basically anything she needs in order to get the upper hand. We have no doubt that she would create ear protection for herself, follow immediately by whatever tools require to win the fight.

6 6. Setsuna Tokage

Setsuna Tokage from My Hero Academia

Setsuna Tokage is one of the students from Class 1B that got in through recommendation. That alone should speak volumes about her skills and potential (just look at the students from 1A that got in this way).

Setsuna is also known as Lizardy, thanks to her quirk, Lizard Tail Splitter. This gives her the ability to break into fifty parts, all of which she can independently control. Combine that with her keen intellect, and she'll be a hard player to beat.

5 5. Tamaki Amajiki

Tamaki Amajiki, aka Suneater is one of the Big Three. He made quite the impression in the attack on Overhaul's people, and with good reason. His quirk allows him to take on features of anything he's eaten that day.

That makes him both powerful and slightly unpredictable, things that he can easily use to his advantage. Where Tamaki lacks in confidence, he makes up for in pure power.

4 4. Fumikage Tokoyami

Next up on our list is Fumikage Tokoyami. His quirk, Dark Shadow, may come with high risk, but it is also exceptionally powerful. We know that Tokoyami has some control issues, as well as being especially vulnerable to light and fire.

Neither of which Present Mic have an affinity with. Something tells us that Dark Shadow won't care too much about sound, making this another bad match for the instructor.

3 3. Izuku Midoriya

Midoriya using One For All in My Hero Academia

You just knew that Midoriya was going to make it on this list, right? Midoriya, aka Deku, is the rising star of the series. And not just because he's the main character. His powers are going exponentially, as manga readers know well (as the fans of the anime saw hinted at in the finale).

Midoriya is not only an extremely powerful character (even if he does have to be cautious about over-extending himself), he's also incredibly bright. More than that, he essentially has an encyclopedic knowledge of other heroes, making him a threat to any he's paired up against.

2 2. Katsuki Bakugo

Another character you could probably predict making this list is Bakugo. He's one of the most stubborn and driven characters in the series, which is saying something. There's no way he would go into a fight without giving it his all.

Which probably means that Present Mic would be in for a bit of pain, because there's no way Bakugo would hold back. It also seems unlikely that Present Mic's attacks would slow him down enough.

1 1. Shoto Todoroki

shoto todoroki

Last but not least on our list is Shoto Todoroki. He's one of the top students from Class 1A, in power scale, and is another student that got in via recommendation. Frankly, there probably isn't much that Present Mic could do against Todoroki.

Theoretically, the sound would help against Todoroki's attacks, but probably not enough to actually stop any attack from coming through. At the end of the day, that's the most important part, right?
