A piece of fan art imagines a world where My Hero Academia's Izuku "Deku" Midoriya is bitten by the radioactive arachnid from Spider-Man.The sketch depicts Deku donning the signature super-suit of the Queens-born web-slinger. His mask has been removed to reveal a pair of glowing eyes, suggesting he still possesses One For All, despite his costume change. The row of piercings on his ear gives the impression of a more mature and confident hero that can match Peter Parker's witty remarks with his own.Related: Netflix’s Super Crooks Is a Mature My Hero Academia - and It Works

This isn't the only My Hero Academia and Spider-Man crossover from the artist, as she also shared an accompanying illustration depicting Deku's classmate Katsuki Bakugo covered in the black symbiote from Venom.

If great power comes with great responsibility, none may be more deserving of taking up Spider-Man's mantle than Izuku "Deku" Midoriya. Deku is a boy who grows up wishing to become a hero, only to be disheartened when he realizes he was one of the few people in the world born without inherent superpowers. His dream seems impossible to reach until he meets his idol, All-Might, and is offered a chance to become his successor. Inheriting All-Might's quirk, One For All, Deku then steps foot into the world of heroes and villains.
