With the forth season of My Hero Academia now at an end, fans are already clamoring for season 5. Sadly, fans will have to wait at least a year for it to be released, but at least that means better quality.

While fans wait, they can at least look forward to the possibilities that await them in the upcoming season. What plot points and events will occur, and which characters will appear are just a few things to look forward to. Let's take a look at some of the things we'd like to see in season 5.

10 Dabi Name Reveal

Dabi's flames in My Hero Academia.

Admittedly, this one seems the most unlikely of any entry on this list to happen in season 5, but it doesn't hurt to hope. When he was first introduced, he said he was going by the name "Dabi" now, implying that it wasn't his real name. Dabi's real name was only just revealed in the manga but only to Hawks, the audience is still in the dark.

The biggest reason people want Dabi's name to be revealed is to confirm a popular fan theory that Dabi is Toya Todoroki, the missing eldest brother of the Todoroki family. It's a stretch to think it would happen in the upcoming season but fans would surely be pleased by even a hint of his real name.

9 UA Traitor

If you remember, because the League of Villains had so much information about UA that the faculty was sure that their was a traitor in their midst, whether a teacher or a student. It was a major revelation but it's since fallen to the wayside and become all but forgotten.

Season 5 seems like the perfect opportunity to bring up this plot point again. With All Might's retirement, society is going through a major shift. Such as it is, UA would have a difficult time dealing with a traitor during these tumultuous times. If not a full reveal, then at least an acknowledgment that this side plot hasn't been forgotten.

8 Focus On Secondary Characters

Class Of 1-A In My Hero Academia GeT Ready For Battle

Season 4 saw some focus shifted to some of the secondary characters, namely Kirishima and Jiro. Kirishima faced his doubts of being a good hero during his work study with pro hero Fat Gum, and Jiro deals with some compelling personal issue while organizing Class 1-A's musical performance during the school festival.

Those were some of the highest points in a season of high points, and it's something that should continue in season 5. Giving focus to the secondary characters not only provides great story material, but it also fleshes out the world.

7 More Of Eri Being Happy

The first half of season 4 dealt with the heroes stopping at nothing to rescue Eri from the clutches of the inhumanely abusive Kai Chisaki, aka Overhaul, who was repeatedly dismembering and reassembling Eri to harness her Quirk for his twisted ideals. Going through all that pain, Eri heartbreakingly ended up forgetting how to smile.

With Midoriya's and Mirio's help, Eri was finally able to smile again. It was the most pure thing and hopefully there'll be more of Eri being happy in season 5.

6 Hawks

Season 4 saw the debut of the new number 2 hero, the young hotshot Hawks. He's everything a top ranking hero should be. He's popular, charismatic, and he has loads of accomplishments under his belt, but there's just something about him that doesn't seem right.

During the end credits of the second half of season 4, a young Hawks can be seen blindfolded, training to use his quirk by men in suits, likely government agents. There's more to Hawks than meets the eye and hopefully it'll be explored in season 5.

5 One For All History

Not much is still known about One For All, the Quirk passed down to Midoriya from All Might. It's a Quirk that gets passed down and gets stronger as it does, and Midoriya is somehow able to connect to its previous users, though not all of them. That's really all that's known about it.

The final scene of season 4 saw Midoriya tap into the memories of One For All, where he saw the previous users and left viewers with more questions that want answered in season 5.

4 League Of Villains

Dabi, Shigaraki, and Mr. Compress walking away after defeating Overhaul in My Hero Academia.

The League of Villains took a back seat for much of season 4. They had their moments, to be sure, but they weren't the villainous focus this time around.

Hopefully that'll change in season 5. From what was seen this past season, the League of Villains is ready to make some moves, or rather is already making moves with Dabi releasing the High End Nomu, but it seems they're going to be a major part of the next season.

3 Endeavor's Character Arc

He may be the number 1 hero now, but fans have not forgotten how badly Endeavor treated his family. Endeavor is a complicated character who wants to become the strongest hero but also abused his wife and children.

But if the end of season 4 demonstrated anything, it's that he's trying to make a change and turn his life around. Whether he deserves it or not, it will be an interesting story arc in season 5.

2 Gentle & La Brava

Anime My-Hero-Gentle-La-Brava

The villainous duo of Gentle and La Brava were hit-or-miss with fans but there's no denying that their story resonated deeply with Midoriya and with the themes of the series as a whole.

Hopefully they'll reappear in season 5, especially since they ended their story with the authorities giving them an opportunity to turn their lives around, so they might even appear on the side of good.

1 Mirko

She only had a few short moments of screen time in the anime but already everyone and their mothers stan her. Mirko, also spelled Miruko, is the number 5 hero on the charts and she's the bunny waifu fans deserve.

Though she wasn't seen in action this previous season, her introduction toward the end of the season surely means she'll appear again in the upcoming season, inevitably causing fans to love her even more.
