Despite being a fairly new character, My Hero Academia's Rabbit Hero – Mirko (the #5 Pro Hero in Japan) has become surprisingly popular with fans of the series. She is a strong, fierce fighter who prefers to work on her own, she has a never-give-up attitude, and an extreme amount of both mental and physical strength – all these aspects of her character have made her strike a chord with the show's audience.

Because of her somewhat unique character design – at least within MHA, fans couldn't wait to start drawing her, and some of them created truly awesome pieces – 10 of which are listed below. If you appreciate the art, make sure to check out the original creators and their other works at the links provided

10 XXartistic14xx

Drawn by artist xXartistic14Xx, this amazing Mirko fan art is super well-drawn and has a very detailed, complex design. The shadowing and textures, in particular, are really good, and the light background gradient goes perfectly with the rest of the drawing, especially the grayish, somewhat opaque smoke.

The line art of Mirko itself is vivid and distinct, not to mention extremely accurate to the character. Just to mention a few things: The hair is drawn extremely well, the outfit is perfect, and the bright red eyes and fluffy rabbit ears both look incredible.

9 SHELLMaru

Twitter user SHELLMaru is the artist behind these two completely incredible renderings of Mirko. The more detailed one on the left shows her in her Hero Outfit, fully embracing her rabbit side by eating a carrot, while the one on the right shows her doing an extremely impressive split in casual wear.

Both are well-shaded and rich with color and detail; obvious examples of this are the extremely realistic carrot design, in the first, and Mirko's incredibly well-drawn hair, in the second.

8 Cmshoto

Artist Cm_shoto created this awesome take on Mirko that's very simple in its execution but still has enough detail to surprise and enthrall the viewer. The art, for instance, while not complicated, shows the illustrator has a clear understanding of how to create perfect lines and shapes, and the coloration is extremely well done, particularly with shadows.

The background creates a fitting atmosphere that gives the drawing a little bit more of a personality.

7 Yoshi55level

Artist Yoshi55level shared this awesomely-drawn and incredibly detailed Mirko piece, spicing up the liveliness factor by giving the character a variety of different epic poses. These have the added effect of showcasing the creator's knowledge of shapes and angles.

Mirko is drawn perfectly and in a way that's very accurate to the anime, although the artist still manages to add in their own unique style.

6 Shumazarashi

Digital illustrator Shumazarashi's Mirko fan art looks exactly like the character, and it's high-quality art overall.

One of the best things about it is the shadows. They look amazing, and the choice of colors for them is superb, especially when it's two colors that work really well together, like white and light blue or pink and light brown.

5 Otonaru

Otonaru's art of Mirko is extremely detailed, with tons of colors, shadows, and textures used to emphasize the character's extremely muscular build.

Details like the hands (the one thing that's always been difficult for artists to get right) and the face (which captures Mirko's exact expression, but in a unique, noticeably more complex style) are done perfectly.

4 Kolomari

Artist Kolomari created this unbelievably good sketch of Mirko, and they definitely deserve full props as it looks incredible. The mid-jump pose is one a lot of artists like to use to emphasize a character's confidence and engage the viewer right from the outset, and it certainly does that here.

The colors look awesome, and the overall art style, while fairly unique, still manages to fit extremely well with Horikoshi's own.

3 Easonx

Perhaps the most detailed of any of the individual fan arts featured here is this one by Easonx, which combines excellent coloring and shadowing with a truly colossal amount of detail to deliver an incredible experience. The design looks semi-realistic while still doing justice to Mirko's character.

Tons of work seems to have been put into even the smaller details, like Mirko's meticulously drawn eyes or mouth.

2 KadeArt

Popular Twitter user and "full-time fangirl" Kadeart created this super cool look at gym Mirko working out, sparring with Hawks, and posting exercise selfies.

The style works astonishingly well and delivers a version of the character that doesn't just look like the same old, same old; especially since the little changes (like giving Mirko a ponytail, or making her eyes purple instead of red) don't even seem that out of place.

1 IBUO

Artist IBUO is the one responsible for this over-the-top, completely spectacular art of Mirko, which definitely seems like it took a ton of time to make. The colors are amazing; there's an unbelievable level of detail and precision throughout, and that actually creates a good contrast with the solid background.

It really just looks like a much more intricate, complex version of Horikoshi's original art, and that's what's so amazing about it.
