After the students submit their designs, a professional makes their costumes. The students get to wear their hero costumes for the first time during basic training and throughout their high school careers. They tweak and develop their costumes to best suit their abilities.

USJ has six training zones, each simulating a particular disaster environment. Even though students are supposed to conduct themselves in a serious manner when training, USJ actually looks like a pretty fun place to train.
