Since the hit animated series My Hero Academia is all about superheroes, there are of course plenty of scary villains for the heroes to fight. There are common street thugs with quirks, but there is also the formidable League of Villains, where the strongest rogues and criminals can band together and really take the fight to the heroes.

All For One and Tomura Shigaraki lead this group, and they have inspired many other rogues to join the cause. As of four seasons in the anime, the group has a handful of members, and a few have lost their lives. But the League is bound to bounce right back, and it's willing to work with the likes of Stain and Overhaul, too. Which five members are the most powerful, and which are the biggest liabilities in a fight?

10 Strongest: All For One

All For One using a quirk in My Hero Academia

The most obvious choice for the strongest member: All For One. This helmet-wearing man is over a century old and has spent that time studying and stealing quirks, making him a one-man army.

Despite his ailing health, All For One is a powerhouse on the battlefield, and it takes the likes of All Might himself to even challenge him properly. His multi-quirk attacks are enough to squash even the heroes who rank in the top 10, like Best Jeanist. That's incredible.

9 Weakest: Magne

Magne conjures electricity in My Hero Academia.

Magne (which is probably short for "magnet") is a villain with a rather ordinary outfit: a button-up shirt and white undershirt, pants and boots, along with some shades. They also carry a huge, rod-like magnet object.

Their quirk can draw people of the opposite sex together by force, but Magne had little chance to prove how effective that can be. As far as the anime shows, that magnetism isn't much to worry about. And now Magne is deceased, so there's no more chance to prove their potential.

8 Strongest: Tomura Shigaraki

Tomura Shigaraki is to All For One what Izuku is to All Might: a beloved trainee who is entrusted with the future of their respective side of good vs. evil. Tomura has the Decay quirk, allowing him to dissolve flesh and bone if he touches someone with all five fingers.

This quirk is a dire threat against any hero, and Tomura has even proven himself against the Yakuza and Overhaul. Now he is stronger than ever, and he has certainly earned his spot as the League's newest leader.

7 Weakest: Mustard

Mustard pointing a gun from My Hero Academia.

This middle school boy was part of the vanguard squad that raided the U.A. forest training camp, and he directly fought Itsuka Kendo and Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu. His quirk allows him to create and control a huge quantity of toxic gases.

This makes it tough for anyone to breathe, but with face masks on, Itsuka and Tetsutetsu were able to take Mustard down, since he has few defenses outside of his gases and revolver. It just takes one hard blow to knock him out.

6 Strongest: Muscular

My Hero Academia Muscular from mha

The villain known as Muscular also took part in the vanguard squad's raid, but unlike Mustard, he was a serious threat. One on one, practically no one can handle Muscular's bone-crushing strength and sheer bloodlust on the battlefield.

Muscular's quirk allows him to greatly expand and strengthen all of his muscles, and he can easily stand up to Izuku's One For All while this quirk is active. If things get dire, Muscular can increase his strength yet again, and it took a 1,000,000% Smash to take him out.

5 Weakest: Daruma Ujiko

Not much of this elderly villain has been seen so far in the anime, but he is certainly out there, aiding the League in any way he can. Daruma Ujiko (that's his cover name) has a quirk that allows him to extend his own life force.

He uses this not for combat, but to stay alive long enough to keep up his research and learn all there is to know about quirks and medicine. He has a desk job, not a front-line role, and he could easily be captured if any hero cornered him.

4 Strongest: Gigantomachia

Gigantomachia in My Hero Academia.

This massive villain uses his sheer strength, mass, and endurance to outlast his foes and pummel them into submission, and he can move surprisingly fast for his size, too. He was able to drive off Gran Torino and blast a chunk out of a mountain during their brief encounter.

Gigantomachia is a servant, and he was once All For One's bodyguard. He is now entrusted to Tomura, and he can fight the entire League at once for a month without surrendering. That's one tough villain, all right.

3 Weakest: Spinner

Spinner is just a fancy lizard in My Hero Academia.

This reptilian man is among the weaker members of the League of Villains, but he doesn't lack for spirit or style. He is modeled loosely on the TMNT franchise, and he also follows the teachings of Stain about phony heroes.

In battle, Spinner has not yet used a quirk. Instead, he once wielded a super-sword composed of many other bladed weapons, and during the battle with Overhaul, he was tasked with driving a truck. Spinner is more of a minor supporting character than a boss.

2 Strongest: Twice

The villain known as Twice hasn't done much to prove it yet, but he is actually a formidable villain who has nearly limitless combat potential. His quirk allows him to duplicate people, and those duplicates include the original's quirk.

Twice is fast and acrobatic, and if he makes a copy of himself, that clone can create two more, and so on, exponentially. He has the capacity to overrun an entire country if he chooses to, if the clones are coordinated enough in their efforts.

1 Weakest: Moonfish

Moonfish unleashes his barbs in My Hero Academia.

The toothy villain known as Moonfish is probably the most powerful bottom-tier villain among the all rogues in the series. He's not as scary as Tomura or All For One or Muscular, but he is still formidable, despite having his arms bound to his sides.

Moonfish can elongate his teeth a great deal, and form long, sharp blades all over the place that can stab and cut his enemies. He can also use them to prop himself up, in case he gets knocked down during combat. His endurance is not especially high, however, and he has no defenses against tricky quirks like mind control, gases, or energy projectiles.
