In the past few years, there have been several hit anime shows that take place within hero-centered universes, with two of the most popular being My Hero Academia and One-Punch Man. Despite the many differences between these shows, the heroes within them often possess strikingly similar powers and abilities, leading many fans to often question which heroes would win in a fight.

We've taken 1o of our favorite My Hero Academia heroes and pitted them against similar One-Punch Man heroes to see which universe has the stronger cast of characters. For fans of both series, there are a few manga spoilers, so PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

10 Snipe Versus Gasmask Cowboy

Snipe and Gasmask Cowboy share so many similarities, from their designs to their overall abilities! While Snipe is a renowned Pro Hero in My Hero Academia, One-Punch Man's Gasmask Cowboy isn't anything to write home about. The fact that one of the show's most mediocre heroes, Mumen Rider, ranks higher than him, says it all.

Snipe, on the other hand, possesses the powerful Quirk, Homing, which allows him to control the trajectory of his bullets with pinpoint accuracy. Gasmask Cowboy wouldn't be able to avoid a single bullet during their battle.

9 Mineta Versus King

In taking their personalities into account, King and Mineta are pretty similar. Both have the potential to be greater than what they are, but often choose to flee rather than fight. While My Hero Academia fans have constantly questioned how a coward like Mineta managed to earn a spot in UA's prestigious Class 1-AOne-Punch Man fans have wondered why King hasn't yet been publicly outed as a false S-Class Hero.

If by some weird circumstance, the two ever fought, Mineta would most certainly come out on top. A few throws of the sticky balls on his head and King would be glued to the floor, begging for mercy.

8 Kaminari Versus Lightning Max

Denki Kaminari and Lightning Max are two heroes who've learned how to incorporate electricity into each of their fighting styles. Kaminari has a pretty powerful Quirk; he can shoot out upwards of 2 million volts from his body, although overusing his Quirk often fries his own brain, turning him into an idiot for a whole hour. While Lightning Max isn't able to generate electricity from his body in the same way, the special gunpowder stored in his shoes not only gives him a boost of speed, but allows him to embed his kicks with powerful electric discharges.

If Kaminari is able to catch him without his equipment he may have a chance, but unfortunately, Lightning Max's natural endurance and martial arts proficiency would enable him to endure and avoid Kaminari's attacks before landing the final blow.

7 Endeavor Versus Genos

With All Might out of the picture, Endeavor is definitely the strongest Pro Hero around. While fighting an extremely powerful Nomu, Endeavor generated flames so powerful that they could slice through buildings like paper. Using his control over fire, he can also dramatically increase his speed, although this is nothing compared to Genos, who's so fast that he can keep up with Speed-o'-Sound Sonic, a One-Punch Man villain who's essentially faster than sound!

While Genos's mechanical parts might not be as durable to blunt force, his metal skin is primed to handling intense amounts of heat. Endeavor's flames might be able to carve through buildings, but Genos's can melt entire cliffs in an instant. Despite not being the Number One Hero in his own universe, Endeavor wouldn't be able to hold a candle to the "Demon Cyborg".

6 Fat Gum Versus Pig God

While the One-Punch Man hero, Pig God, looks goofy, he's actually one of the strongest guys around. His method of defeating Monsters usually revolves around him swallowing them whole, but it's doubtful that he'd stoop to eating another hero like Fat Gum just to win a fight. Both characters are resistant to blades and firearms, retaining the ability to absorb blows into their many layers of fat.

What makes Fat Gum different is that he can actually retain the energy from the blows being dealt to him, which he can then release in one lethal punch. Pig God would most likely resort to trading physical blows with Fat Gum, who would only endure the attacks before unleashing an incredibly powerful punch as his last resort. Unfortunately, this wouldn't be enough to take out Pig God.

5 Todoroki Versus Brut & Enjoe

Since My Hero Academia's Shoto Todoroki is an incredibly powerful hero who can manipulate both fire and ice, it made sense to pit him against two opponents who could do the same. While One-Punch Man's Brut and Enjoe aren't exactly "heroes", they definitely aren't "villains" either.

While Brut can manipulate ice, Enjoe can generate fire, and yet despite being born with such awesome powers, the two can only conjure minimal amounts of their respective elements. Their coordination could also use some work. Instead of using their powers to keep an opponent on their toes, the two constantly find themselves at the end of the other's attacks. Todoroki could probably defeat both Brut and Enjoe in his sleep.

4 Uraraka Versus Fubuki

Uraraka's Quirk, Zero Gravity, allows her to temporarily negate the gravity of whatever she touches for a short amount of time. Though this ability seemed like one that wouldn't be super useful in battle, Uraraka has combined it with her mastery of Gunhead Martial Arts in order to become a force to be reckoned with.

Fubuki is a natural-born psychic, and unlike Uraraka, she doesn't grow nauseous as a side effect of using her powers. Even with the ability to make herself float, Uraraka wouldn't be able to get close enough to Fubuki to do any real damage.

3 Koda Versus Chemonille

Koda's Quirk, Anivoice, enables him command animals to distract and disturb his adversaries. Chemonille, an associate of Brut and Enjoe's, has a similar ability, although he can only use it to summon small birds. If Koda chose to summon insects to coax Chemonille into shock just as he did with Present Mic, Chemonille's birds would be enough to get rid of the bugs.

And yet, all Koda would have to do is summon even larger birds to render Chemonille's power useless.

2 Deku Versus Tanktop Master

It was difficult to match Deku up against a hero with abilities somewhat similar to his own, given that many One-Punch Man heroes have enough speed and power alone to tango with him at 20% Full Cowling. Obviously, at 100% Full Cowling, Deku would be able to dominate Tanktop Master in a fight, but as of now, he isn't able to access this power on his own.

From what we've seen during his battle against Garou, Tanktop Master isn't one to play around. With just one hand, he could lift a huge slab of concrete and hurl it so fast that it pretty much broke the sound barrier. This raw power would be more than Deku could handle, and wouldn't give him any time to develop a strategy to take Tanktop Master down.

1 All Might Versus Saitama

Although he was incredibly strong when he was first introduced in the anime, the All Might that fans met in the very first My Hero Academia episode was past his prime. Still, it's very reasonable to assume that even in his heyday, he'd be nowhere on Saitama's level.

Saitama's power is almost satirical. Fans have never truly seen him in a tough situation, and he's defeated godlike enemies like Boros and Orochi all on his own. A few casual blows from Saitama are enough to rip an opponent's body into pieces, while All Might's "300 mighty blows" didn't even leave a scratch on the Nomu he fought during the USJ Incident. This matchup is almost too unfair, but then again, any matchup involving Saitama always will be.
