My Hero Academia is a series that is quite literally full to the brim of characters for fans to adore. It has everything from iconic heroes to dramatic villains. And while we’ve been completely blown away with some of the fights that occurred (and are eagerly looking forward to some of the fights coming up) the truth of the matter is that there are some fights we’re just begging to see.

We’re not talking about fights that have occurred in the manga, either. We’re referring to the matchups that haven’t happened yet, but they really need to. And ideally, these fights would happen sooner rather than later, because they would be brilliant to watch.

Here are our ten favorite (purely theoretical) matchups.

10 10. Bakugo vs. Stain

Be honest here: who wouldn't have loved to see Bakugo and Stain get a chance to duke it out? Realistically, this fight will never happen. Stain is in prison, after all. And the only chance Bakugo had to take on that fight happened when Deku called out for help – and we all know that Bakugo might just have ignored that call.

Still, there's little doubt in our mind that a fight between these two would be brutal and violent. And we'd enjoy every minute of it. And in case you're wondering, Bakugo's blood type is A, which means that he wouldn't be immune to Stain's quirk. So perhaps this wouldn't be such a fair fight after all.

9 9. Endeavor vs. Twice

Endeavor vs. Twice is another matchup we'd love to see. If you haven't been reading along with the manga, you might want to go ahead and skip to the next item on this list. For there are spoilers ahead.

And we're not talking about the Twice who's too afraid to duplicate himself. But instead, the Twice who got over that fear and can replicate himself to levels reminiscent of Naruto. Though with a lot more sass.

We would love to see how Endeavor would handle fighting an antagonist that came at him in such sheer numbers. And how much damage Twice could inflict before the fight came to an end. And yes, we know that this matchup is a bit strange. Endeavor is sort of built to take on mobs. However, without knowing which Twice is the real one, he very well might not know how hard he can hit. He wouldn't want to risk 'killing' the wrong version (aka, killing the real Twice).

8 8. Todoroki vs. Dabi

A fight where Todoroki takes on Dabi. This would be the mirror match of the century, if it happened. Blue flames versus fire and ice. That sounds intense and brilliant. And that's before taking in any possible fan theories that may or may not be true (hint: some fans believe that Dabi is Todoroki's brother).

This is a fight that we're really hoping we'll see in the series at some point. And we're probably not too off-base to hope for this fight either. After all, the U.A. students do keep coming up against the League of Villains. So cross your fingers.

7 7. Suneater vs. Toga

Okay, so we know this sounds like a weird matchup, but bear with us. On the one hand, we have a character who can create elements of anything he's eaten. On the other hand, we have a character who can turn into any other character who's blood she's ingested. And that includes using their quirks.

So this would be a fight of two strikingly similar quirks. It would be fascinating to see how they would work things out, and who would come out on top because of it. This goes doubly so, now that Suneater has gained a bit more confidence in himself.

6 6. All For One vs Monoma

Another fight we'd love to see happen is All For One versus Monoma. Though perhaps not for the reasons you'd think. Monoma is not a hero yet, so it's probably unfair to hope that we'd see him go up against All For One.

But there's a reason we want to see it nonetheless. It would be fascinating to see how All For One would react to seeing a quirk like Monoma's. And it would likewise be interesting to see if it'd be a quirk that he'd want to get his hand on, or if he saw it as too much of a threat.

5 5. Hawks vs. Tomura

Another fight we're really hoping we'll see is Hawks vs. Tomura. In the manga, this is a fight that feels like is looming on the horizon, and with good reason. So we're really hoping that the fight does happen. So far, we haven't had much of a chance to see Hawks go all out on any fight. And we feel like Tomura would change all of that.

Likewise, we'd be interested in seeing how Tomura would handle fighting a guy like Hawks. And of course, we'd also want to see the explosive situation that would lead to their battle. In short, we really, really want to see this fight happen.

4 4. Ryukyu vs. Giant Villain

We've seen a few fights of heroes and villains who could turn giant. But most of those fights have ended relatively quickly. And we haven't (yet) had much of a chance to see what Ryukyu has to offer, despite the fact that she's one of the top heroes.

So we would really love to see Ryukyu take on the Giant Villain – you know the one, he looks like a giant shark? It'd be interesting to see how she would take him down. And admittedly we're looking for a whole lot of brutality here.

3 3. Ectoplasm vs. Soramitsu Tabe

Ectoplasm, one of the instructors from U.A. High School is yet another hero we haven't had much of an opportunity to see fight. And we have the ideal matchup for him. Or maybe not the ideal matchup, but an interesting one.

We want to see him fight against Soramitsu Tabe. Tabe is one of the Eight Bullets. He's the one introduced in the most recent episode of MHA – the one who was taking massive bites out of Suneater. We would love to see how these two would go up against each other. It would either go really well or really poorly.

2 2. Eraserhead vs. Kurogiri

Eraserhead versus Kurogiri is another fight we'd desperately like to see happen. And yes, we had that idea in mind before the latest revelation in the manga. Though that new detail would certainly add some complexity to the situation. But that might actually be a good thing. Anime does love a good emotional fight when they can get it.

One of the main reasons we'd want to see this fight is because we'd want to see what would happen to Kurogiri is Eraserhead used his quirk on him. And we're curious to see what Kurogiri would do against Eraser Head.

1 1. Deku vs. Shigaraki

And finally, we're very much looking forward to the day when Deku and Tomura Shigaraki face off. We all know it's going to happen – this is a fight the entire series has been building towards. And it's a fight that they will continue to lead us to as well.

And we just cannot wait to see it happen. This is going to be the guitar solo of the series, and will surely be one of the most epic fights the series has to offer. Which is seriously saying something. We don't know how far off this fight is. But we just can't wait to see it happen.
