My Hero Academia is full of great characters, especially the students of the prodigious U.A. High School, the premier school for training young heroes. The members of Class 1-A are the anime's main protagonists, and thus they get a lot more attention and screen time than the less well-known members of Class 1-B.

However, despite Class 1-B perhaps not being as popular as it should, several fans have still developed Alternate Universese *(AU) and headcanons surrounding the class' students, a popular theme being that one of these overlooked students is secretly a villain. Here are 10 pieces of fan art that imagine what it might look like if the members of My Hero Academia's Class 1-B actually became villains. As always, be sure to check out the original creators at the provided links!

10 Komori (Art By Tropicalcyclone1)

Kinoko Komori is definitely one of the more nonchalant characters in Class 1-B, so her being a villain would definitely be a surprise. Despite this, artist Tropicalcyclone1 creates an awesome sketch that shows a possibility of what the character would look like in her villain form.

It's a great, surprising take on the character that aims to show there's a dark side to everyone.

9 Monoma (Art By SilverDiamond11)

Student Monoma Neito is a popular character for villain AUs, and in this piece of fan art by Deviantart user SilverDiamond11, he definitely looks the part of a prolific teen-aged supervillain, with the appropriate suit, bow-tie, and comb-over.

Perhaps the most shocking part is that the "kid genius" look actually fits him pretty well.

8 Itsuka (Art By BlueWolfArtista)

This interesting piece of fan art, created by artist BlueWolfArtista, combines two prevalent Internet fandoms - My Hero Academia and Brightburn. Itsuka is costumed as the main character of the latter franchise, an extraterrestrial boy who uses who superpowers for evil.

The "I find you" is a nice touch that adds a really creepy vibe.

7 Shoda (Art By Skithepengiart)

Shoda isn't a character that gets a lot of love among members of the My Hero Academia fandom, but it's mostly just because his character is severely underdeveloped compared to 1-B titans like Kendo and Monoma. Because of this, we don't really know where his true allegiance lies.

This piece of fan art, created by Tumblr user skithepengiart, imagines him as a buff villain with a stylish, well-designed costume.

6 Awase (Art By GoldenMari13)

Artist GoldenMari13 reimagines Awase as a villain, although with Awase appearing so calm and collected - like many villains do - you wouldn't know his secret just by seeing him. There's still a bit of a dark aesthetic throughout the whole thing, especially with the shadow cast on Awase's face, but the character's true intentions are still surprisingly well-hidden.

If Awase was a villain, he probably would present himself like this - nothing complex or elaborate, just an evil guy doing evil.

5 Setsuna Tokage (Art By Yola96)

Deviantart user Yola96 has created incredible villain versions of almost every Class 1-B student, but for this list we decided to pick out their rendition of Setsuna Tokage in particular. The character's crazed expression certainly isn't hiding anything, which makes sense as Tokage is notoriously upfront with her intentions.

The dark/light side motif is a nice touch, perhaps referring to the character's transition from hero to villain.

4 Deku & Monoma (Art By SirinAnari)

Monoma takes center stage in this sinister-looking piece, but the creepy Class 1-A hater of a calm demeanor is not the only villain here - he's accompanied by a villain version of Deku (My Hero Academia's main protagonist). Apparently, this is an alternate universe where the two have put aside their differences to work side by side - not as heroes, but as villains.

In terms of quality, the art itself, created by Deviantart user SirinAnar, looks great, and it really capitalizes on the opportunity to show the major changes that would need to be made to both the characters' personalities in order for them to become villains.

3 Aoyama & Monoma (Art By Nadaboodraws)

Another villain AU pairing Monoma up with a Class 1-A student, but this time it's one he actually has a close physical resemblance to - the notoriously laid-back Yuuga Aoyama.

Like many of the other artists on this list, NadabooDraws has built an entire canon of their own around what My Hero Academia's heroes would be like as villains (complete with backstories and dialogue), and this undoubtedly creepy, kooky piece definitely has a place in that collection.

2 Komori (Art By HourglassCipher)

Artist Hourglass Cipher crafts a twisted take on villain Komori's Halloween that employs a creepier design to the character than normal (also, is she dressed up as the protagonist of Miraculous Ladybug?).

It's no doubt every bit as sinister as the rest - even the mushrooms are strangely ominous. The outfit definitely looks like it took some work to plan out, as Horikoshi's original design is tweaked to allow for frightening alterations.

1 Monoma (Art By Lefupatia)

This sketch-like piece of villain Monoma fan art doesn't deliver a lot of thrills or scares, but it's an honest take on what the character would look like should he turn to the metaphorical dark side. Monoma's smile, his costume, and even the background all are distinctly "his" style - they've just been repurposed.

Artist lefupatia definitely deserves to be praised for such an earnest effort.
