My Hero Academia is an anime that not only tells the story of young students learning to become heroes but also features a gorgeous art style by the manga artist, Kohei Horikoshi. As a super popular anime with such a large fanbase, it's only natural that many fans show their love and support for their favorite heroes through their art.

Whether they've maintained the original art style or put their own unique twists on the characters, the artistic talents of My Hero Academia fans truly come alive in their artwork. Here are ten amazing works of fan art from ten talented artists.

10 Aizawa & Eri

At first glance, Shouta Aizawa and Eri seem like two characters on opposite ends of the spectrum. Aizawa always appears to be exhausted with a darkened mood as emphasized by his dark clothes, bloodshot eyes, and random sleeping bag moments. Meanwhile, Eri is young with bright wide eyes and an innocent personality.

That being said, the sleepy homeroom teacher has taken on a more fatherly role with Eri living at the U.A. dorms. In this adorable fan art by @blindnss on Tumblr, Eri plays affectionately with Aizawa, dressing him up with cat hair accessories and stickers. Cute might not be Aizawa's preferred aesthetic, but he puts up with it because of his soft spot for Eri.

9 Deku As All Might

Growing up, Deku was always the biggest All Might fanboy. He had his own All Might action-figure, loved watching videos of All Might saving the day, and dreamed of becoming a hero just like his idol.

Tumblr user @supernova-art (@supernov_Art on Twitter) perfectly captures Deku's childhood and admiration for All Might in a single drawing. Posing in front of an All Might poster as big as himself, a young Deku proudly sports a miniature All Might costume, which his own hero costume design would later be inspired by. Little did Deku know at the time that he would one day inherit his beloved hero's quirk.

8 Snow & School

Because My Hero Academia is action-packed with heroes fighting villains in life-or-death situations, it's easy to forget that the main characters are still young students who attend school.

This winter-inspired fan art by @delusional_lune on Instagram stays true to Kohei Horikoshi's art style while showing three fan favorites on their way to school on a cold snowy day. Deku appears eager and ready for another lesson on how to become a hero, hot-headed Bakugo is irritated (probably at Deku), and Todoroki is looking cool as always. In addition, the cool-toned palette adds to the cozy winter vibes.

7 Eri As Nezuko

As a young girl who was saved from a traumatizing past, Eri is one of those characters who must be protected at all costs. And with her reddish eyes, long flowing hair, and innocent nature, she reminds some fans of another well-loved anime character, Nezuko from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba.

In this two-part crossover fan art by @dabilydraws on Instagram, Eri is drawn as Nezuko's fierce berserk form as well as her well-behaved form with the iconic bamboo in her mouth. Coincidentally, Nezuko gains a horn in the same exact place as Eri when she goes into her berserk form. The shared characteristics and similarities between these two girls only make this crossover even more perfect.

6 The Boys

The boys of Class 1-A are quite a talented bunch when it comes to heroics. From explosions to fire and ice, they excel in sheer power and hyper offensive fighting tactics.

Though this artwork by @laulaubi on Instagram does not feature every single male student from Class 1-A, it showcases some key players and fan favorites. Deku, Kirishima, Bakugo, Todoroki, Tokoyami, and Denki squad up while showing off their quirks and some muscle. In addition to the beautifully sculpted arm muscles, each boy exudes a level of confidence that brings the whole piece together.

5 The Girls

In contrast to the boys whose quirks often rely more on pure strength or elemental forces, the girls of Class 1-A have relatively unique and unexpected powers for quirks.

In this series of four, @hayashikana on Tumblr redesigned Ochaco, Kyoka, Momo, and Tsuyu for a fantasy alternate universe setting with a subtle nod to their quirks. With a quirk that controls gravity and resembles magic, Ochaco is appropriately drawn as a mage. THough suited in light armor, Kyoka still has her headphone jacks. Momo puts her weight down on a knight's sword that she might've used her quirk to create. And Tsuyu is dressed in a green flowery peasant dress to match her green froggy quirk.

4 The Big Three

Three of the strongest students in Class 1-A are Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki. Their flashy quirks also make for eye-catching fan art.

This fan art by @alessia.trunfio on Instagram shows the three heroes jumping right into an epic battle. Deku leads the pack while preparing to attack and distributing immense power across his body with his One For All quirk. Bakugo is fired up and ready to blast some explosives. And Todoroki is already launching his fire with one arm and waiting for the right moment to strike with his ice in the other.

3 Plus Ultra Loading...

If My Hero Academia was made into another video game, what kind would it be and what would it look like? Rather than another classic fighting game like My Hero: One's Justice, it would be cool to have a fantasy quest game.

In this video game themed fan art by @condofixed on Tumblr (@reetobeet on Instagram), the characters of My Hero Academia are reborn as young heroes who shall embark on an adventure. The background is an illustrated map with friends or foes along the way and a red X to mark where they're headed.

2 All Might But Stronger

All Might has two forms: his buff and charismatic hero form and his weak and feeble form. While his hero form looks proud and undefeatable, his weak form just makes him look like a frail old man, especially when he coughs out blood.

However, @nekodou on Pixiv was able to make the frail All Might look extremely fierce and even cooler than his hero form. Rather than his eyes appearing to be sunken in, their sharpness gives him a piercing glare of intimidation that would strike fear into any opponent.

1 Alone In The Rain

Aizawa, the low-energy homeroom teacher of Class 1-A, tends to give off a somber vibe as he runs his class and would probably nap in his sleeping bag all day if he had a choice. However, there is more to Aizawa than just his sleeping bag cocoon.

Back when he was a student at U.A., Aizawa had doubts about becoming a hero. One rainy day, he spotted a tiny stray kitten and didn't know what he could do to protect it besides leave his umbrella behind to shield it from the rain. This fan art by @luno_doodles on Instagram perfectly recreates that angsty moment of Aizawa's somberness and uncertainties of becoming someone who can save others.
