In the hit superhero anime My Hero Academia, superpowers aren't rare; they're everywhere, and most people are born with a quirk. But will they be a hero or a villain? Some of the top heroes, like Endeavor and Best Jeanist and Ryukyu, have astonishing quirks that can take on nearly any villain. And now, Endeavor is the #1 hero.

The pro heroes in My Hero Academia are truly extraordinary, including the UA teachers, and the fans not only like to dress up as these heroes, but they also make some of the best fan art of any fandom. All Might is a popular subject for fan art, but so is Endeavor, and now, in the wake of season 4, there's all kinds of new art featuring this fiery hero. Here's some of the best Endeavor art out there.

10 Flames Off

The gallery begins with Endeavor looking introspective instead of angry. His quirk isn't always on; he can turn those flames off during civilian life, and viewers can see what his face is really like. Artist FroggyLovesCoffee decided to show everyone the character's mellow side.

This piece, while calm, does have an air of mystery and tension about it. The ongoing battle against the League of Villains is a bitter one, and Endeavor is on the front lines more than ever. He's got a lot on his mind, and these probably aren't happy thoughts he's having.

9 New Costume

A hero must wear a unique costume, so they can act as a symbol of hope and courage when monsters attack or disaster strikes. In My Hero Academia, some costumes are even designed to enhance the wearer's quirk.

Artist Comfort Love and Adam Withers opted to redesign Endeavor from the bottom up, giving him a steely blue outfit that wouldn't look out of place in Marvel comics. His flames have a new look, too, appearing more like a hood or a lion's mane. He's fiercer than ever.

8 Full Figure

Online art can create not only 2-D figures of characters and animals, but also 3-D digital images for extra pop. This works for My Hero Academia characters too, and artist Guillaume Vanson chose Endeavor as the subject.

In this 3-D model, Endeavor is striking a classic pose, and it looks like he's on a few chunks of volcanic rock to add to his fiery aura. And look at the texture on his costume... it's made up of countless scales, and it must have taken a lot of work to create that effect. Very impressive!

7 Not Impressed

Endeavor is a pro hero 100%, but he doesn't always act like it, and his abuse toward his family means he has a lot to make up for. He's also pretty tough for other heroes and strangers to get along with, too.

Artist Reza Ramadhan shows everyone Endeavor's more standoffish side, or maybe he's simply not impressed by the combat abilities of the newest heroes in town. Aside from All Might, he's the strongest, and he's set some pretty high standards. Can anyone keep up with him?

6 Partners

Or maybe Endeavor isn't so tough to get along with after all? Artist Damare Draws decided to showcase Endeavor's cooperative side for this comic book-inspired bit of fan art, and the warm colors help add a sense of friendship and trust.

Endeavor often operates alone, but he's willing to be part of a team, such as when he helped the other heroes rescue Katsuki Bakugo from the League of Villains. He and Hawks also made a fine team when that ultra Nomu showed up.

5 Partners In Crime

Speaking figuratively, that is. There is no reason to think that Endeavor or Hawks will suddenly go rogue and become criminal masterminds, though Endeavor's personality does leave something to be desired.

For this piece, artist Christian Dave Gonzales went for a dedicated comic book look, and the results are eye-popping. This art could easily go onto the cover of any manga volume or comic book, and Endeavor's rage contrasts nicely with Hawks' serene look.

4 Photogenic

In this seventh entry, Endeavor has learned to chill out despite those flames, and he is even in a good enough mood to make a nice pose for the camera. He's the top hero now, and he might as well look good for the magazine covers.

Artist Karen Nikolajczuk is showing Endeavor's downright playful side, and that's not an expression fans often get to see on that flaming face. But it's a welcoming change of pace, and the fire effects are very nicely drawn, not to mention those embers in the background.

3 All The Rage

Endeavor is angry again, or perhaps he's just thrilled to find a villain who's worth fighting. He's not the type to indulge weak villains or carry out mopping-up operations; he'd rather go after the big targets and enjoy a real challenge.

So, artist Leon Clarke drew an Endeavor who is fired up in every sense of the world, and to give the character a dark edge, the artist only drew in one of his eyes and left the other a dark spot. Is Endeavor about to let his rage get the best of him? Let's hope not!

2 Rating Dad

Endeavor isn't just a hero; he's a parent, and he married a woman with an ice quirk so his children could control his fire-type quirk with some ice powers and regulate their temperatures. He had a few children before his ideal son come along: Shoto Todoroki.

So, Endeavor pushed Shoto very hard to succeed, and Shoto isn't too thrilled about it. In artist Millicent Cripps' poster-like art, Endeavor is captioned as the world's top dad... but someone, probably Shoto, had a few words to add first.

1 Confident

When you reach the top of the hero charts, not much can faze you, and you might be entitled to a little smugness about it all. There are many pro heroes out there, and the competition is fierce. And Endeavor beat them all.

Artist Joanne Kim uses bold strokes to bring Endeavor to life, and he's not afraid to show off his superiority. That expression is impossible to misread, and his flames are all fired up for added effect. He'll need to back all that up right away, though, when villains like the Nomu come calling.
