Tomura Shigaraki is the primary antagonist in My Hero Academia. His obsession with killing All Might has put him on a collision course with the series protagonist, Izuku Midoriya. Shigaraki is a dangerous villain that no opponent should take lightly.

The leader of the League of Villains possesses a keen intellect and sense of strategy to pair with his physical capabilities. He is incredibly strong and resilient and his quirks are deadly. Shigaraki's Decay quirk allows him to disintegrate whatever he is touching. He also possesses All For One, which was used by his master. He would make quite the dangerous opponent for even the most deadly of heroes and villains in DC comics.

10 Would Defeat Him: Darkseid

Darkseid Is In Too Many Stories Across DC Comics, Weakening His Menace

Darkseid is one of the most iconic villains in all of DC. The ruler of Apokolips has given the heroes of DC all they can handle and more. His might has been more than challenging for the likes of Batman and Superman. Even with Shigaraki's numerous abilities, he would be outmatched.

This would be one mighty villain Tomura Shigaraki wouldn't defeat. Darkseid has been able to survive disintegration in the past. This mighty villain would be able to outlast Shigaraki with his near-indestructibility and his Omega Beams.

9 Could Defeat: Shazam

When Shazam transforms and calls upon the power of the six deities whose initials make up his name, he is a formidable hero with many abilities. However, with all the power he is bestowed, it wouldn't be enough to beat Tomura Shigaraki.

Shigaraki is a ruthless strategist and would work to outsmart Shazam. Even if Shazam got in some offense, Shigaraki has super regeneration. It wouldn't be an easy battle for Shigaraki but he would outlast the hero until he found the opportunity to decay him.

8 Would Defeat Him: Green Lantern

One of Shigaraki's only real weaknesses is enemies who can attack him from a farther range. Shigaraki himself can fire air cannons from his hands for a ranged weapon but those only go so far.

Green Lantern is a hero who doesn't have to get close at all to defeat Shigaraki. All Green Lantern needs to do is create restraints for Shigaraki from far away to keep the deadly villain contained. This is Green Lantern's only viable strategy for defeating Shigaraki. If the battle gets up close, Shigaraki would decay him.

7 Could Defeat: Cyborg

Cyborg

Cyborg is a very versatile hero. With ranged and up-close melee capabilities, he can give many villains a challenge. While he can shift parts of his body into different weaponry, it would be unlikely that Cyborg could find a weapon to defeat Shigaraki.

Cyborg's best bet against Tomura Shigaraki would be firing off many ranged weapons. However, Shigaraki wouldn't stay down. He would be able to counter with his air cannons to make sure he didn't get hit. Inevitably, Shigaraki would get close and decay Cyborg.

6 Would Defeat Him: Martian Manhunter

Martian Manhunter throwing punches

Martian Manhunter is a powerful hero with the right abilities to withstand and defeat Shigaraki. Shigaraki looks to strategize his move and then decay his enemy, which is a sound strategy. However, Martian Manhunter has several defenses against that.

He can phase through Shigaraki's attempts to decay him. Martian Manhunter's true weapon against Shigaraki is telepathy, however. Not only can he mess with Shigaraki's mind, but he can also control it. If he chose to, he could make Shigaraki decay himself.

5 Could Defeat: Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman with a sword, protecting a child

Wonder Woman is one of the top heroes in DC's long history and for good reason. She is powerful and inspiring. As one of the trinity, she is one of the top heroes in the Justice League, the most iconic team of heroes.

None of that would matter to Tomura Shigaraki. Wonder Woman's affinity for combat and her many powers wouldn't phase Shigaraki. He would close the distance and decay her. There would be nothing she could do to survive him if the Justice League didn't get involved.

4 Would Defeat Him: Batman

Batman has gone toe to toe with everyone from The Joker to Superman. Despite having no powers, he is a tactical genius and world-class martial artist. Not to mention, he can afford to have all of his useful gadgets made. Furthermore, he has a contingency plan for everyone.

Nothing would change for Tomura Shigaraki. Batman would know better than to engage in a fight with Shigaraki. Instead, he would lay traps and use his gadgets to disable Tomura. As smart and deadly as Shigaraki is, Batman would remain one step ahead of him.

3 Could Defeat: The Flash

The Flash

The Flash may seem unstoppable with the speed force and everything that goes along with it. However, Tomura Shigaraki would be ready. He doesn't go into a fight without preparing. As fast as The Flash is, he wouldn't be able to move faster than a plan that has already been created.

Shigaraki is a great strategist. He would use his keen intellect to find a way to stop The Flash. When he catches The Flash off guard, all he has left to do is decay him.

2 Would Defeat Him: Raven

Magic would be one of Tomura Shigaraki's greatest weaknesses. He can't decay what he can't touch. Raven has so many abilities that she can overwhelm even Tomura. His only chance would be to out-strategize her. However, she can adapt to his strategies to give herself the advantage yet again.

Raven would be able to distract Tomura with her soul-self and teleport away from his attempts to decay her. Ultimately, she would call on her great magic ability to defeat Tomura without even physically touching him.

1 Could Defeat: Superman

It may seem like a mismatch for Tomura Shigaraki to take on Superman, but the leader of the League of Villains has his ways. Superman has many powers that would make him a huge challenge for Shigaraki. However, he doesn't have the tactical intellect of Tomura.

Tomura Shigaraki wouldn't take any chances when it came to Superman. He would get his hands on some kryptonite and lay a trap before decaying the Man of Steel.
