When it comes to fictional school settings, My Hero Academia's U.A. High is among the more interesting setups. With Pro Heroes training future Pros—usually in ways that bolster competition and give viewers fun fight scenes to watch—it's no surprise that characters like Midoriya and his friends wanted to go there so badly.

But, what if the students from My Hero Academia were transported to another fictional school setting—more specifically, Hogwarts? Which Hogwarts houses would they be sorted into and why? It takes courage, ambition, wits, and loyalty to become a Pro Hero, but surely each of U.A.'s best would fare better in one house over the others. Here are 10 students from Class 1-A, sorted into Hogwarts houses.

10 Izuku Midoriya: Gryffindor

According to All Might, Midoriya's tendency to move to save people before he even has time to think about it is the "true measure of a hero." That sort of courage is also the true measure of a Gryffindor, and so there's no doubt about which house Midoriya would be in. He faces his fears head-on in order to help people and achieve his dreams, so his house colors at Hogwarts would likely be red and gold.

He's also got a knack for shirking the rules, something our Golden Trio can certainly relate to.

9 Katsuki Bakugo: Slytherin

Was there ever any question about which Hogwarts house Bakugo would be in? Bakugo's entire personality exudes ambition, and he'll stop at nothing to become Number One. With that sort of determination, the Sorting Hat would definitely be shouting "Slytherin!" before he could properly place it on his head.

On the bright side, Bakugo would finally give Harry Potter fans a Slytherin worth looking up to. Sure, he's abrasive, but he's not one of the students who would turn to the villain's side.

8 Ochaca Uraraka: Hufflepuff

When it comes to Uraraka's Hogwarts House, the Sorting Hat would definitely have a toss-up between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff. Like Deku, Uraraka confronts her fears, but, more than that, she stands by her friends, and that's why she'd ultimately end up in Hufflepuff, a house reserved for the most loyal students.

Uraraka's loyalty is proven throughout My Hero Academia, as she stands by Deku and Iida almost all the time, never succumbing to the same competitive rivalries that set the boys against one another. She knows she can be a great hero and help raise up her friends, and that mentality is perfect for a Hufflepuff.

7 Shoto Todoroki: Slytherin

Todoroki would be another student to perplex the Sorting Hat, as he could just as easily wind up in Gryffindor as he could in Slytherin. Ultimately, though, the Todoroki we meet entering U.A. High has only one thing on his mind: surpassing his classmates and becoming the best hero of the group. Even if he eventually learns there's more to being a great hero than just that, his ambition would probably land him in Slytherin.

Besides, just because the Harry Potter series never shows us Slytherins who are brave and loyal doesn't mean they don't exist. Todoroki would make a great example of one.

6 Tenya Iida: Ravenclaw

Iida has a sharp mind and tends to play by the rules, making him one of the top students in Class 1-A and the perfect person to take on the job of class representative. From those things alone, Iida seems well suited to becoming a Ravenclaw; he's witty and mature, and he comes off as such.

Blue also seems to be Iida's color, so he'll wear the Ravenclaw house colors well. Can't you just picture him in a blue and bronze scarf?

5 Momo Yaoyorozu: Ravenclaw

Momo is the top student in Class 1-A, and she's so bright that she's able to tutor her fellow classmates and help them keep up with their own hero studies as well. She's also able to think quickly in a crisis, evidenced by her clever use of her quirk during the League's attack on U.A. High's summer camp, and she's proven herself an asset when it comes to strategizing and unraveling her opponent's strategies.

Given how clever she is, Momo would wind up in Ravenclaw, no questions asked. Where else would someone whose wits overshadow all their other positive qualities wind up?

4 Tsuyu Asui: Hufflepuff

Asui is both intelligent and brave, but her dedication to her friends outshines both of those qualities. We see how much she cares for her classmates most clearly when they disregard her advice to stay away from Bakugo's rescue mission. She confronts them afterward, concerned that their disagreement will affect their friendship.

Given how committed Asui is to those she cares for, it's probably safe to say she'd be a Hufflepuff. Even her bravest moments from the anime are usually in response to saving someone she knows or cares for.

3 Eijiro Kirishima: Gryffindor

Kirishima Debut

Kirishima started out as a scared boy with too many insecurities to count, but he studied and trained himself to become a hero worthy of getting into U.A. High. And, unlike middle school Kirishima, high school Kirishima is the first to jump in and defend those in trouble even if he's scared, and even if his quirk may not be all that useful against his opponent.

Given his tendency to throw himself in harm's way to save others, we're pegging him as a Gryffindor. Not that Red Riot really needs more red to add to his look...

2 Fumikage Tokoyami: Gryffindor

My Hero Academia's Tokoyami

Tokoyami is another student who'd likely find himself in Gryffindor, although he has the qualities that make a Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff as well. Ultimately, Tokoyami could find himself in any of the three houses, but we've seen in Harry Potter that the brave but loyal, like Ron, or the brave but intelligent, like Hermione, often end up beneath the lion sigil—and we have a feeling that Tokoyami would find himself there as well.

Not only is Tokoyami willing to partner with Midoriya during the Sport's Festival despite the fact that everyone is after him, but he's also willing to suffer through Dark Shadow's tantrum at summer camp to ensure his friends don't get harmed. No one can accuse him of not being brave enough, even if it is paired strongly with loyalty.

1 Denki Kaminari: Hufflepuff

Poor Kaminari isn't ambitious enough to wind up in Slytherin, nor is he witty enough to find himself in Ravenclaw. When it comes to Hogwarts houses, he'd be somewhere between a Gryffindor and a Hufflepuff—and, honestly, we have a feeling he'd wind up in the latter.

It's not that Kaminari isn't brave, but he's never done anything so courageous that he'd definitely find himself in Gryffindor. He does, however, always stick by his friends, and he tends to have their backs when they find themselves in a jam. (See: Bakugo and Kirishima during the provisional license exams.) Given his dedication to his friends, Kaminari would probably be a Hufflepuff. And, hey, he's already rocking the black and yellow!
