Shimura Tenko, usually going by the name of Shigaraki Tomura, is the main antagonist of My Hero Academia. Currently, Shigaraki leads the Paranormal Liberation Front, which is a collaboration between the League of Villains and the Meta Liberation Army. After All For One's capture, Shigaraki has taken it upon himself to lead the Villains and it goes without saying that he has improved drastically over time.

As the leader of the Liberation Front, Shigaraki has gained immense power, especially after the events that transpired at Deika City. Here are 5 My Hero Academia characters stronger than Shigaraki, as well as 5 who are weaker.

10 Stronger: All Might

All Might was once the Number 1 Hero in the world of My Hero Academia, and, to date, remains the strongest of their kind. After receiving the One For All Quirk from Nana Shimura, All Might used its power to become a pillar that everyone could depend upon.

He's displayed power that surpasses his own limits on more than one occasion, making him an impossible foe for Shigaraki to take down. What's more, in his prime, All Might is said to have been several times stronger than what we saw in the series, which makes it simply impossible for him to lose to Shigaraki Tomura.

9 Weaker: Izuku Midoriya

Izuku Midoriya is the protagonist of My Hero Academia and the current user of the One For All Quirk. As All Might's successor, Izuku holds great potential that he will likely fulfill someday. However, right now, much of Izuku's powers are inaccessible to him. He's barely able to use 20% of One For All, the energy of which isn't enough to put him at a level above Shigaraki Tomura.

Although he's strong, he's simply no match for Shigaraki who can cause large-scale destruction of a city with a mere touch of his fingers. At 100% One For All, Midoriya will likely be around his level, but it'll be years before he can harness the One For All to that level.

8 Stronger: All For One

All For One is generally considered to be one of the worst criminals in the world of My Hero Academia. Using his Quirk, also known as All For One, he's able to steal the abilities of other people according to his will. The stolen ability can then be used, or even distributed accordingly by him.

All For One can use multiple stolen Quirks at once as was evident from when he fought All Might at Kamino. His power largely surpassed that of All Might's, and he was defeated only when All Might went beyond 100% and dealt him a devastating blow. There's absolutely no doubt that he's way stronger than Shigaraki Tomura is right now.

7 Weaker: Shoto Todoroki

My Hero Academia's Shoto Todoroki looking determined.

Shoto Todoroki is the son of Endeavor and one of Midoriya's best friends. Said to have the potential to surpass both Endeavor and possibly even All Might, Todoroki is extremely powerful for someone of his age. His Quirk, known as Half-Cold Half-Hot, allows him to manipulate fire and ice at will.

Despite this, Todoroki lacks control over his powers, and thus, isn't as strong as Shigaraki right now. Under Endeavor's guidance, he is likely to get stronger, but it'll take him years before he can match the newly awakened Shigaraki Tomura.

6 Stronger: Nine

Nine is one of the worst criminals in the world of My Hero Academia. Although he hasn't been revealed in the story yet, he has been mentioned in the same breath as All For One, and, according to some, he's an even bigger threat than him. Nine's abilities remain unknown, but it is said that he has the ability to steal and use multiple Quirks, just like All For One.

So far, he's stolen a total of 8 Quirks. Apart from that, Nine also has a Quirk that enables him to shoot some energy radiations from his hands. As someone potentially stronger than All For One, Nine is likely stronger than Shigaraki as well.

5 Weaker: Bakugo Katsuki

Katsuki Bakugo grinning in My Hero Academia.

Bakugo Katsuki is one of the students at U.A and Midoriya's closest friend (although he wouldn't agree to it). Ever since he was a kid, Bakugo has been a genius at using his Quirk, known as Explosion. After years of training, Bakugo has only gotten better and right now, he's one of U.A brightest talents.

Strong as he is, Bakugo doesn't possess the strength to defeat Shigaraki Tomura right now. He could possibly have the potential to surpass him in the future, but there's a considerable difference in the skill of the two as of now. With the intention to get stronger, Bakugo has been training under Endeavor and that could potentially help him draw level to Shigaraki in the future.

4 Stronger: Endeavor

Endeavor MHA

Endeavor is the current Number 1 Hero and has taken over the role of the 'Symbol of Peace' after All Might's retirement. Using the blazing-hot flames of his Hellflame Quirk, Endeavor is capable of defeating any enemy within a few minutes. In his fight against High-End, he proved that he too, like All Might, can go beyond all his limits.

Endeavor's strength is enough to repel even the strongest of enemies, and that includes Shigaraki Tomura. Although Shigaraki's newfound abilities might prove to be troublesome for Endeavor, he's certainly a level above him.

3 Weaker: Kai Chisaki

Overhaul - Kai Chisaki (My Hero Academia).

The leader of the Shie Hassaikai, Kai Chisaki is one of the most dangerous criminals in My Hero Academia. Using his Quirk, Overhaul, Chisaki has previously proven to be a match for the likes of Shigaraki Tomura. He's dealt some serious damage to the League of Villains, proving his level of threat along the way.

Unfortunately for Chisaki, he's not a match for the current Shigaraki Tomura, especially after his Quirk awakened at Deika City. Shigaraki has brought even the likes of Gigantomachia to heel, and without a doubt, he's at a level above Chisaki right now.

2 Stronger: Hawks

The Winged Hero, Hawks, is the current Number 2 in My Hero Academia. He's one of the strongest and fastest heroes out there and aims to build a society where heroes have little work to do. Hawks is one of the youngest pro-heroes in the series, and the level of control he possesses over his Quirk is incredible.

Although much of Hawks' strength remains to be seen, as the Number 2, he's certainly someone who can give Shigaraki Tomura a run for his money. Using his mind-blowing speed, Hawks can definitely outclass Shigaraki and possibly beat him without much trouble.

1 Weaker: Re-Destro

Redestro is the son of Destro, and the guy who led the Meta Liberation Army. As the former leader of a massive army, it goes without saying that Re-Destro possesses immense strength. Using his Quirk, known as Stress, Re-Destro can convert all the stress in his body to his strength.

In his fight against Shigaraki, he was able to dominate him until his Quirk awakened. Once Shigaraki got a hold over his new abilities, it was easy to discern that Re-Destro wasn't even a match for him. Right now, Redestro serves in the Paranormal Liberation Front under Shigaraki Tomura.
