Despite not being one of My Hero Academia's primary characters, down-to-earth, glamorous Hero-in-training Camie Utsushimi has a large following among fans of the anime. This has led to the creation of many fanworks featuring the character, especially art, fiction, and, unsurprisingly, cosplays.

10 Oki-cospi

Artist Oki-cospi shares this simple but well-crafted real-life render of Camie that isn't heavy on the special effects, but instead bursts with glamour in a way that's impossible to ignore.

It's surprisingly more detailed than one would expect, as the light brown eyes, flowing blonde hair, and even the black catsuit costume match their anime counterparts quite well.

9 Natalia Kat

Natalia Kat's lively take on Camie, created for Katsucon 2020, doesn't really try anything new in the way it approaches the character, instead refurbishing old trends and ideas to make them their own. This actually makes it more impressive in a way, as far too many cosplayers try so hard to do something new that they forget about their main goal of creating a powerful portrayal of a popular character.

From a technical standpoint, the costume is well-designed and has a glossy sheen that gives it a fresh, modern look, and the hair is styled well; like Camie's, it's wispy and a cool shade of yellowish-tan.

8 Scarlet S2

Cosplayer Scarlet S2 kills it as Camie, using the character's bold but generally friendly demeanor to give the cosplay a more human feel. The costume design is very anime-accurate, obviously excepting the Christmas-themed take on Camie (which, side note: works surprisingly well).

The photography for the first two images, done by photosnxs, is top-notch; it really gives the cosplay a more vibrant feel.

7 Chipotal.cos

Bay-Area-based artisan Chipotal.cos takes us to a more natural setting for this simple but fashionable (not to mention extremely well-designed) Camie cosplay. The costume is elegant; surprisingly, the latex catsuit works extremely well, and the hat is a pretty anime-accurate reproduction.

The pose gives off a warmly inviting feeling of cheerful confidence, and the hair looks amazing, perfectly adapting Camie's signature style and its almost elegant flair.

6 Jemma Lynn Meowri

Jemma Lynn Meowri delivers this cool Camie cosplay; honestly, a fairly impeccable real-life translation of the anime character. The fawn-colored hair is perfect, and the outfit - complete with the standard Shiketsu High headwear, crisp white cuffs, smart black catsuit, and metallic grey collar - is stunning.

The smart photography work uses lighting effectively, and, as previously stated, Meowri fits the role of Camie perfectly.

5 Lindsay Love Cosplay

An artist and cosplayer with more than 15 years of experience, Lindsay Love Cosplay leaves no room for errors in her dazzling Camie cosplay, using her knowledge of the character's up-front but contemplative personality to craft a series of images that are sharp and eye-catching.

Her costume's collar and hat were both made by sporksaladcreations, but the whole thing looks great - the colors are fantastic, it's very detailed, and ultimately, it more than surpasses normal standards for cosplay; a quiet excellence. The more casual take on Camie is a nice touch, and the photography is precise and professional.

4 Sammyscosplay

Sammyscosplay's take on Camie proves that Glamour isn't just the character's Quirk; it's her way of life as well. From running her fingers through her hair to tipping her hat while standing against a wall, Sammy's photogenic poses capture the anime character's graceful poise perfectly.

Her costume is also excellent, a simple take on Camie's hero outfit that looks like it was lifted straight out of the anime, and the photography, done in each instance by the creative Philip Romeyn, is almost experimental in that it works with different environments and color tones to create a unique final result each time.

3 Danielle Denicola

A well-known cosplayer and voice for the nerdy who's tried her hand at almost every character there is, Danielle Denicola rocks this Camie cosplay with a voguish charm and an air of optimism. Her costume is excellent; the colors are beautiful, especially with the detailed hat design, and it largely stays true to the form of the anime.

David Love (a frequent collaborator of Denicola's who specializes in "fashion, beauty, cosplay, [and] digital art") handles the photography on this one, and his shots are framed perfectly with spirited lighting that breathes life into the cosplay.

2 Shirogane-sama

Cosplayer shirogane-sama straight-up owns this dead-accurate yet stunningly original portrayal of a character who many have trouble finding a way to be creative with. The suit, collar, and hat are all pretty good and fairly in keeping with the style - and even the overall design aesthetic - of the anime, and the cosplayer herself channel's Camie's spirit with relative ease, bringing to life the character's self-confidence, coy nature and up-to-date fashion style.

The photography is handled by Ovsyan, who gives the image much of its unique visual flair and makes the spotlight shine ever brighter on the cosplayer.

1 Blood.raven

Now we come to cosplayer blood.raven, who's put together this truly amazing Camie cosplay that's better than most others in terms of design quality alone; for instance, the costume is clear and fashionable, even sophisticated, and the photography (done by rudyphototaker) is excellent, giving the cosplay a unique layer of individuality with stunning backgrounds and picturesque composition.

Even without the flashy details, blood.raven's modeling alone delivers a look at the character that's stirring and authentic, and like many of the cosplays featured on this list, it works so well because the cosplayer is a fan of the property from which the character stems and wants to do the best possible job of portraying the character clearly and succinctly.
