Mirio Togata, Nejire Hado, and Tamaki Amajiki each have odd personalities that make them stand out, but they also have a mastery over their quirks and a reputation of working hard. Although none of them particularly stood out in the last Sports Festival at U.A., they were respected enough to fight alongside pro heroes as well as to even give a speech to Class 1-A about their internships.

10 The Formation Of The Big Three

The anime leaves out a small flashback that was in the manga in which The Big Three are speaking amongst themselves. Nejire states that while she and Tamaki were always at the top of the class, they stood out more once Mirio worked hard to become a hero, showing remarkable progress. By referring to them as The Big Three, it meant that Mirio's training was paying off, and the rest of the school was acknowledging his achievements.

9 It's Mirio's Fault That Eri Is Scared Of Neito Monoma

Neito was taken to see Eri in the hopes that he would be able to duplicate her quirk and teach her how to use it. However, when he first arrives, Eri seems nervous, stating that he was the "dark side of U.A." She heard this from Mirio not long before, and she quickly hid behind him. Of course, Mirio finds this hilarious. She eventually got used to Neito's presence and his obnoxiously loud and arrogant attitude, but unfortunately, he wasn't able to help her.

8 Nejire Is Difficult For The Artist To Draw

The creator of the series, Kohei Horikoshi, usually adds a sketch of a character at the end of each chapter, as well as a little note briefly describing them and his thoughts about them. For Nejire, Horikoshi expressed that he found it difficult to draw her, especially since he finds drawing long hair to be tough.

This is impossible to tell that he struggles with it from the story itself because he has drawn so many characters fitting this description immaculately.

7 Horikoshi Used His Own Experience To Write Tamaki's Lines

Tamaki isolating himself

Horikoshi stated that when writing Tamaki's lines, he used his experience of speaking in front of a large crowd. He had to speak on stage at Jump Festa, an event celebrating the many works published by Jump. With thousands of people attending this event, it makes sense that he was nervous. This is reflected in how Tamaki couldn't help but see the underclassmen as humans despite his attempts to visualize them as potatoes, and the way that he expressed a strong desire to leave the classroom rather than to continue talking to them.

6 Horikoshi Likes To Draw Mirio

Horikoshi expressed that Mirio was one of his favorite characters to draw. This is because of his simplistic face, making it easy to draw him. Horikoshi stated that he wanted to debut a character like him earlier in the series with a similar personality and ideals. However, it seems that it was better that he waited a little longer to do so, as many fans of both the manga and the anime became invested in Mirio's story.

5 Mirio Spends His Free Time Watching Eri

When Mirio isn't in class, it seems that he spends most of his time with Eri. Since she's so young and never had a chance to control her powers when she was with Overhaul, all members of The Big Three seem to be keeping an eye on her. When the horn on her head starts to bother her,  they rush her over to Eraserhead, who is the only person who would be able to keep her quirk in check in case things get out of control.

4 Mirio Gets His Quirk Back

Mirio's face sticks out of a wall

The biggest question fans had once Mirio lost his powers was whether or not he would ever get them back. The manga finally answered this question in recent chapters with a resounding "yes." When the heroes are struggling in their fight against Tomura Shigaraki and the rest of the League of Villains, he pops out of the ground in a way reminiscent of when he first met Deku.

He was a very welcomed addition to the fight, and fans were happy to see that his dream of becoming a pro hero could still be achieved.

3 Nighteye Didn't Lie To Mirio

Nighteye looking into Mirio's future

During his final moments, Nighteye was able to say his goodbyes to All Might, Izuku Midoriya, and Mirio. It's an emotional scene, and Nighteye contemplates how Izuku could have changed the future that he had originally seen. When Mirio bursts into the room, Nighteye used his quirk one last time, telling him that he would one day become an incredible hero. At the time, fans weren't sure if he was being honest or not, but it's bittersweet to have the series confirm that he was able to look at the future with pride.

2 Mirio Has The Same Birthday As Izuku Midoriya

Mirio and Deku show Eri around the school

Mirio and Izuku share a lot in common. Their work ethic is the same, as they want to become heroes who can put a smile on others' faces. They have worked insanely hard to master quirks that most people would consider to be detrimental and turned these quirks into something seemingly overpowered. They even bonded over their shared regret of not saving Eri when they first encountered her, and they shared determination to put everything on the line to save her. If they weren't similar enough already, they were both born on July 15th.

1 Mirio Thinks Bakugo's Hero Name Is Hilarious

Bakugo finally settled on a hero name for himself, although it still hasn't been confirmed whether or not it would be approved by his teachers. He loudly proclaims himself as "God of Explosive Destruction, Dynamight," which is a name that was inspired by his idol, All Might. Somehow, it is less grim than the other hero names he previously came up with. Upon hearing this, Mirio starts to laugh, to the offense to Bakugo. However, Mirio states that it's a good name, as laughter and joy are needed for a bright future.
