In the hit anime My Hero Academia, Izuku Midoriya enrolls at UA to learn the ways of a superhero, and he's in a whole class of 20 students. Each has a different quirk, and a different reason to become a future hero.

One of them is Tsuyu Asui, the frog girl. She's not the toughest or flashiest student in the class, but her good heart, smarts, and flexible quirk make her a valuable part of any team. She's also a fan favorite! So, which episodes in this anime feature this frog girl and give her some time on screen? Here are the ten highest-rated ones, according to IMDb's user ratings.

10 Episode 32: "Everyone's Internships" (6.9)

This episode may feel like filler, and maybe it is. But then again, it's great fun to see how the different students of class 1-A handle the life of a hero on their own, or in pairs. Bakugo, for one, got a ridiculous new hairstyle against his will!

This episode also features Tsuyu, who was a natural fit with a team of heroes who work with water. They were impressed with her capabilities and maturity, and best of all, she helps take down a squad of villains. This girl is going places!

9 Episode 51: "Moving into Dorms" (7.3)

At first, we don't even spot Tsuyu in this episode, since she is staying in her room while everyone else is touring their rooms to see whose is the coolest. Why not have some fun in the new dorms?

But there's a problem, and Tsuyu has a few words to say. She was always against the idea of her classmates rushing into danger to rescue Bakugo, and she felt that her classmates had broken her trust and put their lives in danger. What kind of hero or classmate does that? It doesn't take long for everyone to apologize, and agree that they will always be together.

8 Episode 26: "Time to Pick Some Names" (7.8)

There isn't much action in this episode, but then again, there's an important matter to take care of: hero names. A hero's moniker, as Midnight explains, is how the public will know them for all time, so it's something to consider carefully.

Tsuyu offered one of the first names that Midnight liked. It was "Rainy season hero: Froppy." It was accurate, charming, and memorable, and it set a good example for hero names. All the other students liked it, too.

7 Episode 55: "Class 1-A" (7.9)

The hero license exam is well underway, and some students are really pulling ahead by this point. Class 1-A is scattered, since the other schools all want to take out the legendary UA's students right away. Tsuyu ends up in a group with Mezo Shoji, Momo, and Kyoka Jiro.

They're trapped in an office building, and cold air puts Tsuyu out of action. But at the last moment, Momo's squad turns the tables on Saiko Intelli, and Tsuyu (now recovered) helps her classmates rescue Momo from her opponent. As Tsuyu points out, the students of UA will never abandon a friend in need.

6 Episode 10: "Encounter with the Unknown" (8.2)

Training at the USJ facility was going well... until the real deal came along, in the form of Tomura Shigaraki and his many villain friends. The students scatter and take cover, and when Midoriya faces a shark-man in the water, Tsuyu is quick to rescue him and deliver a kick.

Tsuyu also demonstrates her tongue's strength and helps fling Izuku out of the water, and she single-handedly gets both Izuku and Mineta out of harm's way. Now they're in cover aboard a small boat, planning their next move.

5 Episode 17: "Strategy, Strategy, Strategy" (8.2)

The cavalry battle sequence of the UA Sports Festival has begun, and nearly every team is pursuing Izuku's team to get that coveted 1,000,000-point headband! Both classes 1-A and 1-B are putting on a lot of pressure.

At first, it looks like the six-armed Mezo Shoji is acting alone... but his arms are hiding two friends. In there, Mineta is flinging his sticky grapes to slow down the opposition, and Tsuyu's tongue helps fling them further and acts as a ranged weapon. Not a bad strategy!

4 Episode 35: "Yaoyorozu Rising" (8.2)

This episode, as the title suggests, puts a lot of emphasis on Momo and Shoto as they battle Mr. Aizawa in the student-vs-teacher mock battles. One of the first battles to take place pits Tsuyu and Fumikage against Ectoplasm.

It's a tough fight, and Ectoplasm's many clones (and single giant clone) block any attempt to reach the exit. But Tsuyu and Fumikage work as a seamless team like true pros, and they get the job done. Great work, guys!

3 Episode 68: "Let's Go, Gutsy Red Riot!" (8.6)

Tsuyu Asui in MHA

Once again, the episode's title tells us who the main star is, and in this case, it's Eijiro Kirishima as he, Amajiki, and Fat Gum deal with a brand-new threat out on the streets. Now, poison darts are nullifying quirks from afar!

Other students are having a slightly easier time. Tsuyu, Ochaco, and Nejire Hado (of the Big 3) are working with Ryuku to take down a squad of villains, and once again, Tsuyu demonstrates some flawless teamwork. She and Ochaco have no trouble knocking out these minor villains.

2 Episode 11: "Game Over" (8.6)

tsuyu questioning izuku my hero

This continues the surprise villain attack in USJ, and the students of hero class 1-A are trying to formulate a counter-attack to buy time until the pro hero teachers arrive to save the day. Until All Might can arrive, it's up to the kids.

Tsuyu, Izuku, and Mineta don't do a whole lot in this episode, but that's the point. The three of them are cautious and taking in the battlefield to study the opposition, and it shows how patient and smart these students are. Being a hero doesn't mean a reckless charge or advertising your presence before you're ready to act.

1 Episode 44: "Roaring Upheaval" (8.6)

Tsuyu and Ochaco are partners for the "scary forest" part of training, and that's when the villains attack! In this case, both Tsuyu and Ochaco are confronted by the shape-shifting Himiko Toga, who has knives and a sinister attitude.

Being the team player she is, Tusyu uses that tongue of hers to vault Ochaco to safety, urging her to go get help. Then, Tsuyu is pinned to a tree as Himiko taunts her, enjoying having the upper hand. Not for long: Ochaco uses some Gunhead moves to subdue Himiko for a few moments, and once more students arrive, Tsuyu is ready for action once again.
