My Hero Academia is one of the biggest anime series out there right now, and should be able to maintain that popularity as the years go on. The show has a massive cast of characters, and manages to give them all their fair share of screen-time and development. But at its core, My Hero is about Izuku Midoriya trying to become the world’s greatest hero. And the one who set all of that off is his mentor; All Might.

The world’s number 1 hero when the series starts off, All Might is the world’s symbol of peace and embodies all he characteristics one would associate with a great hero. Though he takes on a bigger mentorship role as the story progresses, All Might’s presence is still felt throughout the series. He’s arguably the series’ most important character and fans can’t get enough of him. Here are some amazing pieces of All Might fan art that make us love him even more.

10 Shogi Master All Might - かなえ

This great piece of fan art kicks thigs off on a light note. Taking inspiration from the volume 11 cover, this piece by かなえshows All Might’s intensity directed towards a bit of a different outlet; Shogi.

Shogi is pretty much Japanese Chess, and you wouldn’t really expect All Might to play. But what do you know, the symbol of peace just keeps surprising us! All jokes aside, this is a great piece. The attention to detail is evident, and the blank backdrop only helps bring attention to the artists’ incredible effort.

9 Damaged Hero – JaneMere

A big part of what makes All Might such an interesting character is that he’s immediately revealed to be unable to function at his full capabilities from the start of the story. Not only does this add a sense of urgency to Deku’s inherited role as the symbol of peace, but it also humanizes All Might and makes him an instantaneously sympathetic character.

JaneMere captures this incredibly well here, with their depiction of the two All Mights. One the symbol of peace, and the other the damaged hero. The art and coloring is absolutely beautiful, as the artist managed to faithfully recreate thte character in their own unique style.

8 Into The Fire – Skedoodly

Part of what makes All Might such a popular and beloved hero is his selflessness and desire to constantly do good. He’s always doing his best to save everyone around him and will spare no time in doing so, even when he’s at his limit.

This piece by Skedoodly is simple but it gets the point across. It’s a powerful image that depicts All Might in his element. The intensity of the fire burning and All Might with his back to the viewer is an awesome shot, and the artist pulls it off well here.

7 Hero Pose – TheEmpressShark

One of All Might’s most notable character traits is his eccentricity. Everything from his appearance, to his voice, mannerisms and even his quick scream over-the-top. But that’s all part of his appeal.

As the number 1 hero and symbol of peace, All Might chooses to inspire hope in others by bringing about joy and optimism. His big personality is a huge part of that, and it’s something that TheEmpressShark captures perfectly with their piece.

6 In Stride – gibs-arts

This next piece is one of the more unique in terms if visuals and style. The shot itself is pretty standard fare, with All Might in his civilian clothes. He could be out for a light jog, or maybe out helping Deku as part of his training. Either way, what stands out so much about gibs-arts’ work here is the way it’s drawn.

The piece has a sort of pastel coloring quality to it, and the light colors perfectly compliment All Might’s compassionate personality.

5 SMASH! – Cell-Man

If there’s one thing that exemplifies All Might as a hero, it’s his ridiculous strength. His “SMASH” moves are his trademark and have become synonymous with the character.

Cell-Man does a good job here of depicting one of those attacks mid-action. The artist gets it down perfectly. The aura, posture and tiny little gleam in his eye are all absolutely on point.

4 Young All Might – Gerard Delon

One thing that we don’t see much from the series is the young All Might. We’re all used to seeing the hero at the end of his career, but what’s most interesting is imagining him in his prime. We’ve gotten glimpses of this of course, but the majority of what fan have to go on is based off of things mentioned in passing.

Gerard Delon captures the young All Might perfectly in this piece. The charisma, confidence and authority you picture him having in his prime are all on display here.

3 I Am Here - 柴

One of All Might’s defining traits is his ability to instill hope and reassurance in the people around him. He does this not only through his actions, but his words as well.

takes his most memorable line, and pairs it up with a rendition of a much younger All Might to perfectly exemplify what the hero came to represent throughout his career. The attention to detail here is phenomenal, and the art work is absolutely breathtaking.

2 Memories – Trevo

A lot of All Might’s past is a mystery, even to those closest to him. One thing we are able to grasp is that All Might was very close, and cared very much for his mentor; the previous holder of One For All.

Trevo’s work here does a great job of depicting the melancholy and perhaps even regret that plagues All Might in regards to this part of his past.

1 #1 Fan – Trevo

Yet another Trevo piece, this time looking to the future and All Might’s own mentor-student dynamic with Deku. We all know that Deku is All Might’s #1 fan, and the two of them truly have a special dynamic.

This piece really warms your heart. It shows just how close these two are and highlights the special bond they share throughout the series.
