The following contains spoilers for My Hero Academia Season 6, Episode 7, "Disaster Walker", now streaming on Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Hulu.

The heroes of My Hero Academia are currently facing a difficult situation due to Tomura Shigaraki's re-emergence. Their raid has been going exceptionally well. They almost manage to arrest Dr. Kyudai Garaki and stop Shigaraki's revival. However, it only takes one electric shock to turn the tables against them. Shigaraki's revival immediately causes their operation to go haywire, starting with X-Less' death. He also brings Gigantomachia into the battle, making the heroes face dire situations on both ends. With no single hero capable of stopping the two villains' rampage, the students of Class 1-A are forced to join in on the battle as well.

The Hero Association has brought its full force to ultimately put the Paranormal Liberation Front's villainy to a stop, including the students of U.A., but even though the students are meant to play important roles, they are only intended to dip in and then immediately run back. The professional heroes are the ones who will be fighting on the front lines. That's what initially happened; however, the students are now forced to don their hero capes with Shigaraki and Gigantomachia loose.

Not Even The Professional Heroes' Teamwork Can Stop Shigaraki

Shigaraki vs Midoriya in My Hero Academia

After Midoriya lured Shigaraki to a deserted area, Endeavor and the other professional heroes started ganging up on him. Endeavor unleashed one big move after another, though all of them proved ineffective. The heroes only had a chance at defeating the ultimate villain after Eraser Head arrived and started using his ability. Even without his multiple Quirks, Shigaraki proved to be a crafty opponent. He managed to gain the upper hand simply by using his augmented physical abilities and regeneration. In fact, not even the current No. 1 Hero was a match to him.

After a while of fighting without his Quirks, Shigaraki finally set his sights on Eraser Head. He went straight to the quirk-erasing hero, but Midoriya blocked him in the knick of time. The young hero refused to back down just because he was being targeted by Shigaraki. He and Bakugo joined in the fight, doing whatever they could to help the other heroes. Endeavor then assigned Bakugo to support Eraser Head, while Bakugo was tasked to protect his classmate.

Class 1-A Is The Key To Stopping Gigantomachia's Rampage

Midnight in My Hero Academia in handcuffs.

While Bakugo and Midoriya were facing off Shigaraki, Gigantomachia was rampaging around the Paranormal Liberation Front's headquarters. Dabi and the other lieutenants of the organization rode the giant, as he ran toward Shigaraki. Being fully aware of the giant's threat, the professional heroes on that side did their best to stop the rampaging giant. However, their efforts were futile. Gigantomachia alone was already difficult to stop. With the other members protecting him, the task became multiple times harder. The heroes started racking up casualties, including U.A. instructor Midnight.

Feeling the hopelessness of the situation, Midnight reached out to her students. She believed in Yaoyorozu's leadership ability and asked her to start creating sedatives. Understanding what her teacher meant, the young girl then immediately assumed leadership and started directing her classmates. My Hero Academia's professional heroes were already fighting a losing battle. Just like Midoriya and Bakugo, the other students also decided to fight back. And their plan was simple. They would feed Gigantomachia a ton of sedatives and take him down.
