Since the launch of "Extraordinary X-Men" late last year, Marvel's mutants have been besieged by a Terrigen Mist cloud. While that green cloud gives life to new Inhumans by activating dormant genes in unsuspecting people, it's also made mutants sterile and placed their lives in jeopardy. We'll get to see what happens when the T-Mist arrives at a prison in a story in September's "Extraordinary X-Men Annual" #1 -- which Marvel has given CBR an exclusive first look at.
The oversized issue will feature two stories -- one by Ollie Masters and Carlo Barberi and another by Brandon Montclare and Rosi Kampe. Montclare is known for his work on Marvel's "Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur," so it's appropriate that Montclare and Kampe's tale teams the brilliant Moon Girl up with the X-Men's resident genius Forge.
You can see art from the annual, as well as a few of the issue's variant covers, below.
