Once you catch up though, you'll definitely be fiending for something to check out while you wait right. Well, that's what this list of 10 manga you should check out if you love Demon Slayer is for!

10 HUNTER X HUNTER

Hunter X Hunter is definitely a manga you're going to want to check out if you're enjoying Demon Slayer as these two series are similar in a lot of ways. Hunter X Hunter is a series that starts much like Demon Slayer with a single protagonist that soon finds a squad that he begins a brotherly relationship with as they all team up to complete their own mission.

Both series also share the tone of how they get darker from the light start in a masterful way. Not to mention the battles are just as exciting.

9 ATTACK ON TITAN

If you haven't checked out Attack on Titan you really must have been living under a rock for the past few years. If you thought it wasn't the manga for you but you enjoy Demon Slayer then you really need to rethink your life choices.

Attack on Titan actually has a lot of similarities with Demon Slayer, more than one would think at face value in fact. Both series have a monstrous species that the main character is hunting down as an act of revenge for their family's death. Both series also have lore that gets deeper as the series moves on. Each has a really similar tone.

8 AJIN

Ajin really seemed like a sleeper hit in the pantheon of manga and Netflix's original anime series and it's definitely worth your full attention if you've been enjoying Demon Slayer.

Ajin is a series where there are beings called Ajin. These beings cannot die and can control these JoJo's stand-like "Black Ghost" creatures. Much like Demon Slayer the MC begins the series living in his own perfect world then has it flipped upside-down due to some tragic incident that changes things for the worst. This incident leads these characters to have to pick up the slack and learn to fight.

7 FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST

One of the greatest manga series of all time. This is one series you really shouldn't skip out on especially if you've been enamored with Demon Slayer.

Both series feature a protagonist looking to save their younger sibling from a transformation that past tragedy has given to them. Honestly, Tanjiro and Edward of FMA, are both a lot alike in more ways than just that. They're both full of fault but always make up for the disadvantage they are presented with. Other than this both series are about an adventure to save a younger sibling. Basically, if you love Tanjiro and Nezuko, you'll love FMA.

6 JUJUTSU KAISEN

If you're just in the Demon Slayer boat for the action and the gore then this is the manga for you big time! Jujutsu Kaisen starts off with a normal protagonist doing normal things but after he joins an occult club his life changes.

A real spirit shows up and shows our main character, Yuuji a world that's more than he's bargained for. Much like Demon Slayer, this series deals with the supernatural and is gorey to the max with fights against demonic entities. Like we said if you're loving the Demon Slayer action you NEED to check this one out!

5 YU YU HAKUSHO

If Hunter X Hunter is a 50% recommendation then Yu Yu Hakusho is 85% recommended for Demon Slayer lovers. Much like Hunter X Hunter and Demon Slayer, the series starts with a solo main character that finds a group to help out on their adventure.

The tones are also very similar, with a lot of light moments and a very light start. Don't let that fool you though because like Demon Slayer things get dark fast. Tensions grow and our protagonist must man up with his squad behind him and protect what he cares about.

4 PARASYTE

Another great recommendation if you're loving the action, gore, and creativity in Demon Slayer. Parasyte is a manga with a start like a lot of the others on this list. The main character living the perfect and normal life until something big happens that switches everything up.

In the case of Parasyte's main character Shinichi, he gets a heroic alien parasite called a Parasyte attached to his hand that can talk and morph into anything Shinichi needs. Together they have to take out the rest of the Parasytes that have invaded the planet.

2 CLAYMORE

This manga is a big-time somewhat underrated classic. It's also one of the manga that we feel that all around captures a lot of the beats that makes Demon Slayer fans love Demon Slayer much.

This series is one of the most Demon Slayer-esque on the list. There are humans being turned into demonic creatures that eat humans. There's an organization that's devoted to hunt down and kill said demonic creatures. Our main character's family is killed by these demonic creatures, leading them to go on a hunt for revenge and join said organization. Our main character also goes on an adventure from area to area with the organization on its mission.
