With DC Comics' Future State event off to a strong start sales-wise, multiple titles falling under the Future State banner are headed back for a second printing.
Per an official announcement from DC, the six titles confirmed to be getting second printings are Future State: Dark Detective #1, Future State: The Next Batman #1, Future State: The Next Batman #2, Future State: Wonder Woman #1, Future State: Harley Quinn #1 and Future State: Swamp Thing #1.
The Next Batman #1, Wonder Woman #1, Harley Quinn #1 and Swamp Thing #1 all released this past Tuesday, Jan. 5. Meanwhile, Dark Detective #1 and The Next Batman #2 -- which are slated to arrive on Jan. 12 and Jan 19, respectively -- have already sold out ahead of release.
DC explains that the second printings of these titles are set to arrive in participating comic book shops on Feb. 2. Furthermore, these new printings will feature alternate, character portrait-style covers by the likes of Nick Derington, Joëlle Jones, Dan Mora, Jen Bartel and Mike Perkins.
Future State: The Next Batman #1, Future State: Wonder Woman #1, Future State: Harley Quinn #1 and Future State: Swamp Thing #1 are on sale now from DC Comics. Future State: Dark Detective #1 arrives on Jan. 12, followed by Future Sate: The Next Batman #2 on Jan. 19. Second printings are slated to arrive on Feb. 2.
