Mulder & Scully Reunite a Little Early For Jimmy Kimmel's 'X-Files' Parody

A lot has changed since the 1990s heyday of "The X-Files" -- technology, music, our relationship with Pogs -- as agents Mulder and Scully discovered Tuesday on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

Ahead of the Fox TV revival, stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reprised their fan-favorite roles for a sendup that not only featured Kimmel's "Agent Keith" but also such technological throwbacks as an enormous mobile phone, AOL dialup and a floppy disk.

Worried that they may be forever stuck in the '90s, Scully asks, "Will the people still like us?" Kimmel's Keith assures that they will, but suggests the longtime partners should have sex. "It's been, like, 23 years," he says. "Everybody knows." And so they oblige ...

The six-episode "X-Files" revival premieres Jan. 24 on Fox.
