Disney has pulled Mulan and The New Mutants from the release schedule due to concerns about COVID-19, a strain of the coronavirus.

According to Deadline, the two films will not hit theaters on their scheduled release dates. No new release dates have been announced at this time, though Disney is reportedly aiming for later this year. They were originally scheduled to release March 27 and April 3, respectively.

The horror film Antlers was also affected in this move. The movie, which was slated to hit theaters on April 17, has also been taken off the schedule.

Disney isn't the only studio making big moves like this. Universal got the ball rolling when it pushed James Bond film No Time to Die from April to November. Sony also bounced Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway from April to August. Yesterday, Riverdale halted production due to an infected crew member, while Tom Hanks' latest film shut down when he, his wife and some of the crew tested positive for coronavirus. Earlier today, Universal announced F9 will now release next year instead of this May, while A Quiet Place Part 2 was also pulled.
