Though we've caught glimpses of the various characters in the various trailers for Mulan, this is the first good look we've had at each of the key players. And while past Disney live-action movies have hewed close to the originals, Mulan will take some liberties and offer a different spin on things. As a result, the posters provide some unique teases for the upcoming movie.

Of course, one major absence from the animated film is Mushu, who won't appear in the movie. While films like Aladdin kept the more cartoonish elements and characters alive, Mulan will strive for more realism. Whether that helps it be better received than Lion King, which was criticized for too closely mirroring its predecessor, we'll know soon enough.
