Ms. Marvel, along with her friends Nakia and Zoe, put a stop to his growing business ventures but were unable to turn him into the authorities due to his legal team. Brett has a relatively light role in Ms. Marvel's adventures, but he continues to be a threat from the shadows.

8 Lockdown Has A Callus Approach To Justice

For Becky St. Jude, AKA Lockdown, an inflated sense of self-importance quickly turned into an obsession with fascism after being given a little bit of power. Lockdown's black and white views clashed with Ms. Marvel's while they worked together with the Carol Cadets, a group of kids who operated under Captain Marvel and were meant to show the world the predictive justice system could work. Even though Kamala was on board at first, the consequences of predictive justice quickly turned her away from the mission, and Ms. Marvel shut down the Carol Cadets soon after. Since then, Becky has returned time and time again to get revenge on Ms. Marvel and bring her brand of justice to the world.

7 Dr. Faustus Comes With HYDRA To Take Over Jersey City

Under the guise of a redevelopment campaign, Dr. Faustus came to Jersey City with plans for HYDRA domination. With their activities appearing perfectly legal, it was up to Ms. Marvel to protect her neighborhood from a Nazi takeover. After uncovering the secret HYDRA plot, Kamala and her friends managed to expose the villains and put Faustus behind bars, though it wasn't long before he was back with his schemes. HYDRA hasn't reared their ugly heads around Jersey City in a while, but who knows when they might rise from the shadows again.

6 Ms. Marvel's First Nemesis: The Inventor

Who could forget the first villain Ms. Marvel ever faced? When Gregory Knox set out to make a clone of Thomas Edison, he couldn't have predicted that his pet cockatiel would contaminate the process, giving the clone a half-man-half-bird appearance.

Whether the Inventor's evil nature was caused by accident or if the world-renowned scientist wasn't as morally upright as people believe is unclear, but either way, he used his heinous genius to turn teenagers into living batteries, believing this to be the only good a teenager could do for the world. Ms. Marvel had to put an end to both the Inventor's plan and his short-sighted ideals.

5 No Teen Superhero Is Safe From C.R.A.D.L.E.

When a disaster at Coles Academy causes the world to lose faith in young superheroes, an organization known as C.R.A.D.L.E., or the Child Hero Reconnaissance and Disruption Law Enforcement, emerges to put the public at ease. Backed by Alchemax, the extrajudicial police force took to the streets and began to round up any unauthorized teenage superheroes, including groups like the Champions and Power Pack. Worst of all, the law that allows them to operate is called Kamala's Law, which was put into effect while Kamala was recovering from the Cole's Academy disaster. Ms. Marvel had to put an end to C.R.A.D.L.E and reclaim her name if she wanted to continue her life as a superhero.

4 Kamran Breaks Hearts And Lives In His Quest For Inhuman Supremecy

Kamran charmed his way into Kamala Khan's life with his geeky interests and fancy hair. While he seemed like everything the young girl could have hoped for, her hopes for Kamran fell apart as he revealed his true intentions with her. As an agent of an Inhuman insurrection led by a man named Lineage, Kamran used his powers to abduct Kamala and persuade her to join their army of Inhumans. Ms. Marvel, after coming to terms with being crushed by her crush, fights off her abductors and escapes, but not before giving Kamran a piece of her mind and embiggened fists.

3 Stormranger Is Ms. Marvel's Kree Tech Doppelganger

After an adventure in space, Ms. Marvel returned to Earth with a brand new suit known as the Stromranger armor. With this Kree nanotech power-up, Ms. Marvel's abilities were dramatically enhanced, granting her a boost in strength, a degree of technopathy, and easy costume changes. However, this boon of power came with a cost as the suit was programmed for lethal force, causing Kamala to come dangerously close to crossing a line she couldn't come back from. After the hero repeatedly thwarted the Stormranger's attempts to eliminate her enemies, the armor separated from its host and took a form similar to Ms. Marvel's, deciding to take matters into its own hands. Now, with her Kree tech double on the loose, Ms. Marvel must find a way to take down the most powerful tool in her arsenal.

2 Doc. X, The Virus Programmed For Mayhem

As a computer virus who learned to hate from observing the internet, Doc. X seeks to destroy lives and wreak havoc. With the powers to control both people and machines, the virus can attack from anywhere, making it a tricky foe for Ms. Marvel to pin down. However, Doc. X's most dangerous weapon is the information he has access to.

Not only does it know Ms. Marvel's secret identity, but it has access to her friends' secrets as well, which the maniacal program used to blackmail the hero into helping it. While Ms. Marvel was able to overcome Doc. X, the virus managed to survive its defeat and remains a constant threat to Ms. Marvel's secret identity.

1 Discord Serves As A Reminder Of Ms. Marvel's Past Mistakes

During Civil War II, when Ms. Marvel sided with Captain Marvel and implemented the predictive justice system in Jersey City, plenty of people were hurt by the system before Kamala realized the damage she helped cause. Even though she eventually ended predictive justice in Jersey City, the consequences of her actions haunted her in many ways.

One of those consequences came in the form of Josh Richardson, one of Kamala's classmates who was imprisoned for an explosion he might have accidentally caused in the future. After this event, he joined up with Lockdown and aided in her fascist police force under the new name Discord. Armed with plasma and electrical weapons, Discord fights to find a purpose and get revenge on Ms. Marvel.
