Disney CEO Bob Chapek has laid out a timeline for Marvel Studios' 2022 lineup of Disney+ original series, confirming that Ms. Marvel will debut on the platform before She-Hulk.

It has long been known that the Marvel Cinematic Universe series Moon Knight, She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel would all be premiering on Disney+ in 2022, with Moon Knight kicking things off on March 30. However, it has been unclear whether She-Hulk or Ms. Marvel would be next on the docket.

During Disney's 2022 Annual Meeting of Shareholders Webcast, Chapek stated that Ms. Marvel would indeed be the next Marvel show to hit Disney+ after Moon Knight, with She-Hulk set to arrive "later this year." It was previously announced that Ms. Marvel would premiere during the summer of 2022, meaning that She-Hulk is likely targeting a fall premiere.

With that in mind, Marvel's Secret Invasion series likely won't be premiering on Disney+ until late 2022 at the absolute earliest. Two Marvel Studios specials -- The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special and Werewolf by Night -- are also expected to hit Disney+ later this year. As far as big-screen offerings go, Marvel Studios' 2022 lineup consists of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Ms. Marvel stars Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel, a Pakistani-American teenager who idolizes Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel and ultimately gains superpowers of her very own. The series will lead directly into the upcoming film The Marvels, which also serves as a sequel to 2019's Captain Marvel. The Marvels will see Vellani's Kamala join forces with Brie Larson's Carol and Teyonah Parris' Monica Rambeau.

Meanwhile, She-Hulk stars Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer "Jen" Walters/She-Hulk, the cousin of Bruce Banner/Hulk. In the comics, Jen gains the same powers as Bruce after she sustains life-threatening injuries, forcing her cousin to perform an emergency blood transfusion with his own, gamma-irradiated blood. MCU veteran Mark Ruffalo is set to reprise his role as Bruce in the series, recently stating that he's excited to "pass the banner" to Maslany. Interestingly, Ruffalo is also rumored to be appearing in Moon Knight.
