Since the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Infinity Saga came to a close, Kevin Feige and his team at Marvel Studios have kept their future plans heavily under wraps. However, if a recently leaked audition tape for the upcoming Ms. Marvel series holds any legitimacy, we may have gotten our first hint toward the MCU's introduction of the New Avengers. In the leaked audition tape, the actor auditioning for the role of Kamala Khan (aka Ms. Marvel) seems to be discussing her character's origin with Captain Marvel while also dropping a subtle hint at the existence of the New Avengers. "Captain! I was just watching the New Avengers train all afternoon," she says. "I mean, they're just incredible. The most amazing people I've ever seen."

"I'm not like these guys, I'm just a teenager," she continues. "I was just watching the Avengers fight bad guys one day until the Terrigen wave had spread across the planet... I mean one of my ancestors was an Inhuman so the Terrigen must've activated my powers. That was it, that was how I got my powers."

Although it's important to note that, as of writing, the video has yet to be confirmed as real. That said, if the video proves legit, the future of the MCU seems to be setting up the New Avengers' debut, as well as a possible reintroduction to the Inhumans.

No official release date for when Ms. Marvel will be coming to Disney+ has been given. However, production on the show is rumored to start at the end of 2020.
