Kamala Khan has been a fan-favorite character ever since she introduced herself to the world as Ms. Marvel in the pages of G. Willow Wilson and Adrian Alphona's "Garden State of Mind" from the pages of 2014's All New Marvel NOW! Point One #1. Since then, Ms. Marvel has gone on to be a brand unto herself, replete with Iman Vilani portraying the character in a self-titled Marvel Cinematic Universe series, as well as a leading role in the upcoming The Marvels alongside Brie Larson's Carol Danvers and Teyonah Paris' Monica Rambeau.

Marvel has said of Kamala Khan's upcoming demise, "In the grand comics condition of other notable character deaths such as Captain America, Doctor Strange, and the original Captain Marvel, Fallen Friend: The Death of Ms. Marvel will be a crucial chapter in the Marvel mythos and serve as both a farewell for Ms. Marvel and a glimpse of her death’s impact on all of Marvel’s heroes."

This has seen her team up with not only Spider-Man on multiple occasions, but even with the likes of Dylan Brock, aka Venom, and Marc Spector, better known as Moon Knight.

Amazing Spider-Man #26 is written by Wells with art by Romita Jr., inks by Scott Hanna, colors by Marcio Menyz, and letters by VC's Joe Caramagna.
