Ms. Marvel star Iman Vellani is not shy about sharing her nerdy opinions with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.

"I have so many opinions, which I don't think we have time for," Vellani told Elite Daily when asked about Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. "Here's my TL;DR: I love Sam Raimi." But as for how the film ultimately treated Black Bolt? "I don't care what anyone says. He's my guy," the actor said. "I think they did him dirty. I did not appreciate that."

Vellani is well-known for her MCU opinions, mirroring the fangirl nature of Kamala Khan in the comics. And it's not hard to see why she'd take issue with Black Bolt's unceremonious end, considering Ms. Marvel in the comics is an Inhuman and Black Bolt is the race's king. But that wasn't her only issue with the film.

"Every time I talk to Kevin, we have this argument where I say, 'The MCU is not 616,'" Vellani said about the revelation in Doctor Strange 2 of Earth's designation in the multiverse. "He's like, 'It is because I said so.' I’m like, 'No, it's 199999. He hates it. So, we keep having this argument, and then they put 616 in the movie. I'm like, 'Kevin, you know it's not 616.' He just sends me a sad face. I was like, 'Great.'"

After years of fans dubbing the main comic book universe Earth-616, Marvel officially adopted it. There have been Easter eggs for the number in the MCU, but it's long been assumed the films take place in the 199999 universe since they are clearly separate from the books. But with Doctor Strange 2 dubbing the MCU as Earth-616, it calls into question how the universe can exist alongside the comics, especially when there are MCU-canon comics separate from the main Marvel books.

This isn't the first time super-fan Vellani has brought up her issue with the MCU being Earth-616, proving that she's the perfect actor to play Ms. Marvel. And she's certainly excited to bring the hero to life.

"She felt so different than every other Muslim teen that I'm used to seeing in mainstream media," Vellani said. "They just feel oppressed, or they need to separate themselves from their religion or culture to find themselves. But Kamala didn't feel like that. It was just a part of her life, and it's a part of my life. It's just a part of my schedule. This is the time I wake up. This is the time I eat breakfast. This is the time I pray. This is the time I do soccer practice. It felt so normal for me."
