The following contains spoilers for Ms. Marvel, Episode 6, "No Normal," now streaming on Disney+.

Ms. Marvel star Iman Vellani just confirmed that an infamous Avengers: Endgame leak was secretly planted by Marvel Studios.

Vellani revealed that the supposed set photo featuring Tony Stark's B.A.R.F. hologram technology was actually circulated by the studio itself, during a recent Reddit AMA session. The actor explained that the photo was "leaked" to fuel the erroneous fan theory that B.A.R.F. would somehow facilitate Endgame's time travel plot. She added that the B.A.R.F. photo was directly responsible for her leaving the MCU spoilers subreddit for two years, and spoke of her respect for Marvel Studios' security team and its powers of misdirection.

As the lead actor in Ms. Marvel, Vellani is now responsible for safeguarding several of the MCU's secrets herself. So far, she's done an admirable job, successfully keeping Captain Marvel star Brie Larson's cameo in Episode 6, "No Normal," under wraps until it aired on July 13. Larson briefly reprised the Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel role during the episode's mid-credits scene, which saw her switch places with Vellani's Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel. This plot development will likely be developed further when the two superheroes are finally united on the big screen in 2023's The Marvels.

Ms. Marvel Introduces Mutants To The MCU

Vellani avoided spilling the beans regarding the Ms. Marvel finale's X-Men connection, as well. "No Normal" confirmed that Kamala Khan is actually the first official mutant in the Marvel Cinematic Universe canon, seemingly setting the stage for the X-Men's eventual MCU debut. As if to underscore this, the scene in which Kamala Khan discovers she's a mutant includes a musical sting pulled from the iconic X-Men: The Animated Series theme tune. Marvel Studios is yet to confirm when the X-Men will arrive in the MCU.

Vellani also continues to dance around rumors that Marvel Studios is working towards introducing the Young Avengers to the MCU, with Ms. Marvel serving as one of the team's founding members. "I feel like Marvel could do something like that, right?" she said, in a recent interview. "There should be something. There’s one man you’ll have to convince." Vellani's comments likely refer to Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, who will ultimately be the person responsible for greenlighting a Young Avengers movie or TV show.
