After a decade of films, Marvel Studios is finally set to launch its first female-led feature with next year's Captain Marvel starring Brie Larson. However, according to Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, Carol Danvers may not be the only Marvel coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as he recently confirmed plans are in the works for none other than Ms. Marvel -- AKA, Kamala Khan.In a new interview with BBC, presumingly for Avengers: Infinity War, Kevin Feige was asked about the potential for the Muslim superhero, Ms. Marvel, to appear in the MCU. And while he couldn't offer up any details as to when and how she'd appear, he did confirm that Ms. Marvel's live-action debut is "in the works." "Captain Marvel's shooting right now with Brie Larson," he said. "Ms. Marvel, which is another character in the comic books, the Muslim hero who is inspired by Captain Marvel, is definitely sort of in the works. We have plans for that once we introduce Captain Marvel."

It'll be interesting to see how the films go about introducing Kamala's turn as Ms. Marvel as they have yet to tackle the Inhuman storylines featured in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the recently cancelled Inhumans. However, with the latter having only had a ten-episode first season -- one which failed to truly capture an audience -- it's entirely possible Marvel Studios can start fresh with its own Inhumans lore.

Ms. Marvel can next be seen in Marvel Rising, a new animated feature from Marvel Television. Although an official release date has yet to be announced, it's expected to debut later this year.
