BossLogic has released a series of images celebrating future live-action Ms. Marvel star, Iman Vellani, in the now-iconic superhero costume.BossLogic posted the two art designs on Twitter. The caption on the first image reads, "Congrats to #imanvellani our official Ms. MARVEL Kamala Khan. Crazy to see they picked up someone completely unknown, excited to see." The image sees Iman as Kamala in her iconic costume: a modified blue burkini with a red neck sash and golden lightning bold insignia reminiscent of Carol Danvers' old Ms. Marvel outfit.RELATED: Ms. Marvel Series Reportedly Adds Two More Comics Characters to Its Cast List

The second, which BossLogic titled V2, features the same attire but uses a red-magenta background and sees Kamala blowing a pink bubble, paying homage to one of her original comic covers.

Vellani's casting as Ms. Marvel comes right after the announcement that Orphan Black's Tatiana Maslany will be playing Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk. Both characters will join the still uncast Moon Knight lead for individual Disney+ series that will coincide with Phase 4 of the MCU, following current shows like WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki and Hawkeye, as well as a currently untitled Nick Fury series. However, Vellani stands out for not only being an unknown actress but also playing Marvel's first live-action Muslim superhero, matching the success of her comic counterpart.

Despite only being around since 2014, Kamala Khan's Ms. Marvel has quickly grown into one of the most popular and recognizable new Marvel superheroes. Being to Generation Z what Peter Parker was to classic Marvel readers, the Pakistani-American high schooler from Jersey City received polymorphic abilities after being exposed to the Terrigen Mist, which successfully unlocked her Inhuman DNA. Alongside the TV show, Kamala has been adapted to multiple animated shows and was recently the protagonist of Square Enix's Marvel's Avengers game, voiced by Sandra Saad.

Ms. Marvel is expected to debut on Disney+ sometime in 2021.
