Mr. T Brings 'I Pity the Tool' to DIY Network

Mr. T will take over the DIY Network with his new show "I Pity the Tool" later this year.

Tiffany Brooks, HGTV Design Star winner and interior designer, will join Mr. T as he remodels old rooms for families in addition to a larger construction team.

"Before I worked in show business, I worked in the demolition business," he explained in a statement. "And even after I made it in Hollywood, I kept on building things."

Mr. T isn't the only celebrity who has picked up a show on the DIY Network. The network has already teamed up with a number of other stars for shows, like "The Vanilla Ice Project" (Vanilla Ice), "Daryl's Restoration Over-Hall" (Daryl Hall), "The Shatner Project" (William Shatner) and "Rev Run's Renovation" (Rev Run from Run DMC).

"We're hooking up homeowners who need help with their renovations," Mr. T added. "I'm tired of all this jibber jabber - we're out here getting things done, working hard, demolishing the old and rebuilding the new."
