Mr. Incredible convicted in Hollywood Boulevard attack on Batgirl

Mr. Incredible is headed into anger-management classes.

You may recall that, in October, a camera captured video of a brawl on Hollywood Boulevard between Batgirl and Mr. Incredible that drew in Chewbacca, Waldo, Freddy Krueger in a cracked-mirror version of Disney Infinity. Mr. Incredible was shown fighting with Batgirl and slamming her to the ground.

Now Reuters reports that Mr. Incredible (aka 35-year-old Muhammet Bilik) was convicted Tuesday of attacking Batgirl in what turned out to be a turf dispute. Like Times Square in Manhattan, the Hollywood Entertainment District has seen its fare share of costumed crime in recent years, with Spider-Man and two Captain Americas coming to blows in 2013 in a similar dispute over territory in the high-volume tourist area.

Mr. Incredible pleaded guilty to battery and was sentenced to one day in jail, three years probation, 36-anger management classes and 20 days of roadside cleanup. He's also barred from the Hollywood Entertainment District for the duration of his probation.

"Hollywood Boulevard is famous around the globe and attracts millions of visitors every year. We must keep it safe,” Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer said in a statement. The characters who interact with children and family along Hollywood Blvd have to obey the law."
