In Pokémon Detective Pikachu, it's revealed late in the film that Mewtwo fused Harry with Harry's own Pikachu to save his life, after being attacked by Greninja while initially freeing Mewtwo from Howard's clutches. This meant that Tim had been talking and working with his own father the whole time, even though his father had amnesia.

This knowledge made the events of the entire movie much more hilarious and heartwarming at the same time for fans rewatching the film. It was especially heartwarming when rewatching the scene where Harry (who was still amnesiac at the time) comforts Tim by telling him that if his father was by his side right now, he'd hug him until his bones popped.

8 Hans' Betrayal In Frozen Made Rewatching A Hunt For Foreshadowing Clues

He was initially set up as Anna's love interest, complete with a musical number after they first meet where he proposes to her, and initially comes off as very kind-hearted and considerate to everyone in Arendelle.

7 The Ending Of The Fifth Final Destination Film Was A Surprising Twist

The fifth and final Final Destination movie was a shocker to first-time viewers. At the end of the film, it's revealed that this is the film that sets off the events of the first four films. After surviving characters Sam and Molly board an airplane to Paris, both of them notice characters from the first film being removed from the plane before the plane takes off.

As the plane takes off, Sam and Molly overhear a conversation from Alex's vision and realize it's impossible to escape the plane, which soon explodes and causes Sam and Molly's deaths. Fans that rewatched the film enjoyed having the knowledge that this film wasn't actually a sequel, but a prequel to the first four films.

In the film Us, it's revealed close to the end of the film that the protagonist Adelaide switched places with Red, her doppelganger, as a young child. Red then took Adelaide's place in the surface world, while Adelaide's been trying to get back home since.

This makes the death of "Red" harsher in hindsight for viewers; not only did Adelaide lose her rightful place in the surface world since her childhood, but her attempts to get back were thwarted by the same person who initially switched places with her. However, when the employee tries to escape with the robot, whose name is Ava, she ends up abandoning him to die after killing Nathan and ensuring that Caleb's locked in the house and unable to escape. This confirms the earlier-discussed possibility of Ava manipulating Caleb.

This unexpected plot twist shocked fans, who thought that Ava and Caleb were going to escape the facility together, and they immediately rewatched the film to search for any clues of Ava's manipulation.

4 The Sacrament's Deadly Twist Had Fans Wondering If Father Planned It All Along

Additionally, it seems like Chris' girlfriend, Rose, is oblivious to her family's plans. However, the real twist turns out to be that she's also in on the plan the entire time, shocking all the viewers who saw this film in theaters for the first time.

Many viewers immediately wanted to rewatch the movie to see if they could find any foreshadowing clues leading to Rose aiding her family and betraying Chris in the process.
