Dee Dee was accused of years of abuse related to Munchausen syndrome by proxy (MSP), which describes a condition where a caregiver fabricates or induces an illness on another person.

It stars Joey King and Patricia Arquette, both of whom excelled in the lead roles and were nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award. Arquette won the Emmy for Best Supporting Actress. In addition to the phenomenal performances in The Act, the 8-episode limited series boasts a memorable script that keeps viewers on edge until the very last episode.

With an unforgettable ensemble cast that includes Cate Blanchett, Sarah Paulson, Melanie Lynskey, Rose Byrne, Elizabeth Banks, Uzo Adubo, and more, the sheer talent on-screen makes Mrs. America a must-watch.
