10 Max Revive

Kicking off this list is the medicine that can heal your fainted Pokemon without going to the Pokemon Center. While Revives are easily obtainable by going to the local Poke-Mart, Max Revives can only be found by searching around in the wild. If you're Pokemon have fallen and can't keep battling, give them one of these little things and they will be back in the fight in no time. The only caveat to keep in mind is that it doesn't restore their PP points, So you'll have to keep that in mind if you're still far away from a Pokemon Center.

9 Full Restore

Unlike Max Revive, the Full Restore can be purchased by at any store after you have a few badges under your belt. This powerful potion not only restores all of your Pokemon's HP, but it can also take away any status ailments that have inflicted your Pokemon. So, if your Pokemon is suffering from the effects of being poisoned and is almost out of health, all you need is to give them this Potion, and all is good. The only thing to keep in mind is that your Pokemon has to have some HP, as it won't restore your Pokemon was it has fainted.

8 EXP. Share

Leveling up your Pokemon can be a difficult challenge. If you want to keep your Pokemon up to snuff, you have to switch Pokemon out and have them fight trainers and Wild Pokemon one at a time. With the EXP. Share, each of your Pokemon will get an equal amount of EXP, with the victor getting the lion share of it all. It's an incredibly helpful device that takes the tedium of level grinding each of the Six Pokemon that you can carry at a time. While it was a difficult item to obtain in earlier games, it wasn't until Pokemon X and Y where the device became a prominent item you obtain early in the game.

7 Leftover

While Leftovers are something you probably want to avoid in real life, the Pokemon version of them is something that can prove to be a powerful item while on your journey. This little gem will heal 1/16th of you Pokemon's HP each turn. This item is generally ideal for a Pokemon with a powerful defense and slow speed, such as Snorlax and Miltank, so they can heal up with you having to constantly spam potions all the time.

6 Master Ball

The most legendary Pokeball of all time needs to be on this list. While using Ultra Balls in battle will help in catching powerful Pokemon, the Master Ball will automatically capture any Pokemon, regardless of how much health they have left. However, the one problem in the Pokemon world is that only one Masterball can be found per game. This means that you're better off using this powerful Pokeball when you have the chance at capturing one of the Legendary Pokemon that appear in each game.

5 Technical Machines

While your Pokemon can level up and learn some powerful attacks, there are still a plethora of moves that your Pokemon won't be able to learn, regardless of what level your Pokemon is at. This is where Technical Machines can Come in handy. These devices grant your Pokemon the ability to learn moves that they wouldn't be able to learn on their own. From learning powerful, damaging attacks, like Fire Blast and Hyper Beam, to learning skills that can heal them without the aid of a potion, like Recovery, these moves can become powerful techniques in the hands of the right Pokemon. Plus, if you ever accidentally have your Pokemon forget about one of the TM moves, you can always have them remember the move again.

4 Rare Candy

If you want to level up your Pokemon and are in a hurry, you can give your Pokemon one of these piece of Candy so that they can grow fast. Rare Candies have the power to level up your Pokemon by 1 level. They can be hard to find, as they require your Pokemon to know moves that require them to interact with the environment around you. But, once you have a few in your backpack, your Pokemon will be able to get stronger, learn new moves, and even evolve at a fast rate.

3 Evolution Stones

Anime Pokemon Evolution Stones

Evolution Stones have the power to grant certain Pokemon the ability to evolve into a more powerful Pokemon. While some of these stones will require you to trade your Pokemon with another, most of these stones only require your Pokemon to touch them to become a being of immense power. Pokemon like Eevee, Vulpix, and Staryu are pretty helpful on their own, but they can become stronger with these stones turning them into Jolteon, Ninetales, or Starmie within seconds. That makes for a pretty great item to have if you ask us.

2 Z-Crystals and Z-Ring

The most recent items on this list are also some of the most important items to be found in the Pokemon world. First used in the Alola Region, the Z-Ring can hold onto a Z-Crystal and allow your Pokemon to perform a powerful attack that can heavily damage your foe or even knock them out in a matter of seconds. While only one Pokemon can use a Z-move at a time, you can still swap a Pokemon and have them perform a Z-Move. If may require you to do a silly dance, but some embarrassing motions are a small cost in unleashing powerful techniques. It's a shame they aren't coming back in the Galra Region.

1 Mega Stones

While Evolution Stones are Powerful, Mega Stones have the power to make your Pokemon transform into an even stronger version of itself. Not only does this make them more powerful, but some can even change the elemental type of your Pokemon. From Charizard, Ampharos, and Sceptile gaining Dragon characteristics, to Lopunny and Mewtwo gaining Fighting traits, these evolutions can help quickly turn the tide of a tough battle in your favor. While it's sad that Mega Evolutions won't make a return to Sword and Sheild, we'll always remember these powerful stones for a good while.
