The Angel Devil is a walking contradiction. He's a devil, but he's the manifestation of peoples' fear of angels. Unlike others of his kind, he's capable of coexisting with humans but still believes that humans should die painfully.
It seems like he changed his perspective throughout the series, though, since he became a source of emotional support for a few people. He also dislikes combat and seems lazy most of the time. Since he can shorten people's lifespans just by touching them, Angel hesitates to use his powers and apologizes to his victims beforehand.
