With the animated film Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge now available on Blu-ray and DVD, a new hard-hitting clip from the movie has been unveiled online.
The clip has Jax face off against the four-armed champion Goro in a no-holds martial arts battle. Despite Sonya Blade's misgivings, Jax enters the fight confidently, only to discover he may be outmatched by the otherworldly warrior.
The animated film loosely adapts the events of the original 1992 video game, complete with deliriously gory content as Earth enters a high-stakes martial arts tournament for the fate of two worlds.
Debuting on digital HD earlier this month, the film follows Scorpion as he rises from hell as an undead warrior seeking to avenge his family's murder centuries ago in feudal Japan. Judging by the clip, Goro may prove to an even greater challenge for the ninja master.
