It's time to dust off those ninja masks and get ready to FIGHT. Machinima and Warner Bros. Digital Distribution announced in December they would reveal the trailer for Mortal Kombat: Legacy 2 at the Streamy Awards. True to their word, the following trainer made its debut last night at the web-based awards.

The footage showcases the non-stop action of the continuing saga as Liu Kang and Ermac join the ranks of fighters introduced in the hugely successful first season. The trailer features first glimpses into the rivalries and histories of these fierce warriors as Raiden and his recruits clash against the dark forces of Outworld in the epic battle for Earthrealm!

The new season will feature returning actors Ian Anthony Dale (Hawaii Five-O) as Scorpion and Cary Tagawa (Mortal Kombat) as Shang Tsung, along with new additions Harry Shum Jr. (Glee) as Kuai Liang, Casper Van Dien (Starship Troopers) as Johnny Cage, Brian Tee (The Wolverine) as Liu Kang, and Mark Dacascos (Iron Chef America) as Kung Lao.

Kevin Tancharoen has returned as director and co-writer, along with Josh Baizer and Marshall Johnson (Dead Loss). A release date has not yet been set, but the series will be shown exclusively on Machinima's YouTube page.
