The next major DLC expansion is coming to Mortal Kombat 11 in November, bringing a trio of new playable characters to the popular fighting game, including Rain. The ninja warrior takes the spotlight in the latest character trailer for the expansion, cheekily announced as there being "a 100% chance of Rain." The fighter's gory Fatalities and hard-hitting special moves are shown as he uses powerful jets of water to impale his opponents and blast the skin off of their bones.RELATED: Mortal Kombat: The History of Sub-Zero's Ancient Armor

Rain was introduced in Mortal Kombat III as a nod to the iconic musician Prince, reflected in his purple outfit. The character was absent from the franchise since 2015's Mortal Kombat X, with the Edenian Prince now suiting up once again for battle.

Rain joins Mileena and guest fighter John Rambo for the Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate expansion, with plenty of new gear and player skins included with the DLC. Those that preorder the expansion will receive the "Time Warriors" set of player skins for several characters, including Liu Kang.

Developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Mortal Kombat 11 is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC and Google Stadia. The Kombat Pack 2 expansion and Ultimate bundle will be released Nov. 17.
