Netherrealm revealed two fighters earlier this week for Mortal Kombat 11, both of which are returning kharacters, and another may be joining the fray according to an alleged source code leak.
Perceptive fans have taken notice that the game's achievement list was revealed on its Steam page. One of the secret trophies asks of players to "complete two different Fatalities with Err." Using logic and the other characters that have a similar achievement description, the gunslinger mercenary Erron Black becomes as a likely candidate for MK11. Like D'Vorah, Erron first showed up in 2015's Mortal Kombat X and is considered by some to be one of the most popular characters in the entire series.
If "ERR" does turn out to be Erron, he'll join a roster that consists of mostly Mortal Kombat veterans such as Scorpion, Baraka, Skarlet and Sonya Blade. MKX protagonist Cassie Cage will appear in the game as well, but it's currently unclear if she'll be playable. The only new characters to be revealed right now are Kronika and Geras, the game's antagonists. We'll continue to report if and when Erron Black is officially confirmed.
Mortal Kombat 11 releases for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on April 23, 2019.
