Mortal Kombat 11 Footage Reveals Shao Kahn's Disturbing Fatality

The Emperor has returned, as Netherrealm has released another trailer for its upcoming fighter Mortal Kombat 11 that showcases the power of series antagonist Shao Kahn.

Thanks to the machinations of Kronika, the Keeper of Time and antagonist of this game, Kahn has been given a do-over and a chance to conquer Earthrealm after he was thoroughly destroyed by Raiden at the end of the 2011 reboot. Kahn has wanted to conquer Earthrealm for the longest time, and the only way to do so was to win the Mortal Kombat tournament 10 times in a row... or at least that was the plan until he and sorcerer Shang Tsung decided to cheat and hold the Earth hostage.

Armed with his hammer and spiky helmet, Shao is a deadly opponent who relies on brute force primarily to beat his enemies into submission. In fact, that hammer is going to be the most dangerous thing about him because, as his Fatality shows us, it's his quickest and most decisive way to victory.

Shao Kahn can currently only be granted to Mortal Kombat 11 players who pre-order the game. That said, it'll only be a matter of time before he's made available for everyone, just as Goro was in the previous game.
