NetherRealm Studios first announced the T-800's inclusion in the game in August, along with Spawn and The Joker. The group is joined by longtime Mortal Kombat character Sindel and will be released every other month, with Nightwolf and Shang Tsung available now.

Those who order the Kombat Pack rather than purchasing the characters individually will have early access to exclusive gear and skins. The T-800 will be available on Oct. 8, Sindel will be available on Nov. 26, Joker will be available on Jan. 28 and Spawn will be available on March 17.

Mortal Kombat 11 is developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive. It is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. Additionally, a Mortal Kombat 11 free trial will be available from Oct. 11-14 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, offering access to all multiplayer game modes, a portion of the Story mode, the full base game roster of characters and a preview of the recently added Kombat Pack fighters
