Mortal Kombat 11 was released in April 2019 to largely positive reviews. The following month, its first DLC, Mortal Kombat: Aftermath, was released, adding an additional story mode, new skins and three new characters: Fujin, Sheeva and RoboCop. Other expansions include Kombat Packs 1 and 2, which added characters such as Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, The Terminator, Sindel, The Joker, Spawn, Rain, Mileena and Rambo.

In November 2020, NetherRealm and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, which combined the core game and all available DLC. This version also notably featured next-gen updates for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S

Developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Mortal Kombat 11 is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PC and Google Stadia.
