Mortal Kombat 11's latest character reveal has introduced the four-handed Kollector to the fighting game's universe.

The newest gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat 11 shows the Kollector, a thief who stole from Outworld, slicing and dicing his opponents with a barrage of knife attacks. He's also shown using mystical power-ups thanks to trinkets and relics he's assembled over the years. The creature was loyal to Shao Kahn and has been in hiding since the Emperor fell.

Targeted for execution by Kotal Kahn, the Kollector has resurfaced after the time goddess Kronika revived Shao Kahn for her assault on Raiden's forces. As the clip shows, the Kollector is quite formidable, ending his showcase with a bloody blade-filled brutality and a Fatality that sees him ground and pound Baraka into a gory pulp before stealing his opponent's head for his kollection.

The Kollector joins other new faces in Kronika's alliance, such as Geras, another temporal warrior. With Shang Tsung and Shao Kahn both as downloadable players, it's clear this may well be the most powerful cadre of villains Raiden's legion has ever faced as both parties tussle to shape their of the future.

Mortal Kombat 11 releases on the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on Apr. 23.
