"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" premieres later this month, and Ben Affleck's Batman debuts with it. Affleck will fill the Dark Knight's cowl for the first time since Christian Bale's performance in "The Dark Knight Returns," and Bale is looking forward to seeing it -- even if Morgan Freeman isn't.

When asked who the best Batman is, Bale told ETOnline, "It depends on who you talk with. You can't be Adam West, it just depends what you're in the mood for. I love watching Adam West."

Freeman, who played Lucius Fox in Christopher Nolan's "Dark Knight" trilogy, has a different stance on the subject. "You know, I'm happy for Ben [Affleck], but I don't know how that's gonna work. Because the 'Dark Knight' was almost 'it.' Pretty much 'it,'" he shared. "Did you see 'Batman Begins?' I don't think you can beat that."

"Everyone brings their own element to that -- Ben [Affleck] will do that as well," Bale added after hearing of his co-star's response. "I think the trailers are looking great and I'm looking forward to that. But right on for Morgan [Freeman] for saying no one will ever be that, I very much like him."

Directed by Zack Snyder and starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Laurence Fishburne, Amy Adams and others, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" hits screens on March 25.
