Mike Brennan, creator of Electric Girl, has decided to double the numberof voting librarian raffle winners from 5 to 10. Each of the ten winnerswill receive Electric Girl graphic novels Volume 1, 2 and 3, plus a freeBlammo doll!

"When I launched this campaign," said Brennan, "my goal was to rewardlibraries for all of their hard work and support. I knew a poster wascool, but I sweetened the deal a bit to encourage a decent turnout at thepolls by offering five lucky voters the chance to win an Electric Girlprize pack---you know, to, uh, 'encourage' voters. So. Decent voterturnout? Check! Plenty of registrants? Check! Enough brib---, er, prizes?Uh-oh."

The Shock the Vote and Read a book campaign works like this: Brennan hascreated three poster designs on which librarians can vote. Librarians areencouraged to visit the Electric Girl voting booth at

scrutinize the candidates, then lock in their vote. The winning candidatewill quickly be produced in a limited print run and made available tolibraries that request them while supplies last.

Polls will close at midnight on Friday, March 31, shortly after the PublicLibrary Association show in Boston (Mar 21 - 25).
