WARNING: The following contains potential spoilers for Morbius, in theaters March 19, 2021.

Fan-favorite Spider-Man character Morbius will hit the silver screen next year in a self-titled solo film. The movie will be part of Sony's Universe of Marvel Characters, which also includes Tom Hardy's Venom. While a crossover between the Living Vampire and the Lethal Protector might take a while to occur, a set photo from Morbius features a Venom-centric Easter egg.

A photo uploaded to Reddit features a wall covered in graffiti. Among the graffiti is a black dot with a very familiar set of white eyes and a white zigzag beneath them that looks like a mouth. Under the dot is white text that reads, "Venom."

While it's highly unlikely that Venom will actually physically appear in the film, an alleged plot breakdown for Morbius reportedly gives the vampiric antihero’s movie ties to both the aforementioned Venom film and the Marvel Cinematic Universe version of Spidey. Among the purported elements of the plot, Woody Harrelson's portrayal of future Carnage Cletus Kasady -- last seen in Venom’s mid-credits scene -- will be among the ranks of prison escapees.

Directed by Daniel Espinosa, Morbius stars Jared Leto as the titular character, Matt Smith as Loxias Crown, Adria Arjona as Martine Bancroft, Tyrese Gibson as Agent Stroud and Jared Harris in an undisclosed role. The film arrives March 19, 2021.

Directed by Andy Serkis and starring Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, Venom 2 is scheduled for release on Oct. 2, 2020.
